SOME NEWS -- We asked COLORADO GOV. JOHN HICKENLOOPER during a Playbook Exchange event here if he would run for the White House on a ticket with OHIO REPUBLICAN GOV. JOHN KASICH. He said: “I don’t think Kasich would ever do that … You never know. You never say. He’s an easy person to work with. He’s strongly opinionated. And quick to his opinion. But he also knows as much about the federal budget, and understands health care at a deeper level than almost any other governor I know. ... I don’t think it’s in the cards. But I do like the idea of working with him in some context at some point.” The governor told us Trump has told him he's taken notice of his appearances on TV.

I think he would be a good candidate, but Hickenlooper is way too normal, white and male to be nominated.

We NEED Hickenlooper in the race! Even though he has no chance of being the Dem standard-bearer, since he is a man and a white one at that, we still need him to muck up their already swampy water.

He’s still alive? Is his horse Grey Eagle still alive too? They have to be over 150 years old each.
Don’t underestimate this guy. I’ve worked with him, on a longstanding charity project. He’s a sneaky good retail politician and very dangerous. He comes off as mild and moderate, but he’s pretty far left, not as bad as some but bad enough. He would be a foreign policy disaster, like most of today’s Democrats.
He knows how to come off as Mr. Normal Nice Guy with no sharp elbows.
He can win.
I got to see President Nixon work as a tyke as my Uncle was in Bebe Rebozo’s circle in South Florida. Nixon was a much better retail politician than he’s given credit for.
Dems don’t want a “no sharp elbows” candidate, particularly against Trump. They are going to want someone as nasty as a swim through a sewer.
