Democrats actually stand for hatred of anyone who doesn’t think exactly like they do.
We moved from Southern California to North Dallas in 09. Being from Southern Cal with roots, family, favorite restaurants, the beaches, etc......we decided to buy a small condo as a vacation retreat. I like to say, “we like going to california, we love coming home.”
Anyways, what I have noticed going back and forth over the past few months is how miserable everyone is. Our condo is Orange and well, everybody seems unhappy. I mean, they don’t even give you bags anymore at the store, you have to pay for them or handle it all by yourself. And nobody talks to you, says hi to you, and people seem miserable.
I think California is making life miserable for people. Toyota is moving to North Texas, Plano and the Dallas Morning News had an article about people moving here from Southern California. They interviewed a few people. One woman who moved here with Toyota said she had to call her husband to tell him some neighbor actually waved and said hi to her! True story.
And Toyota thought about a third to a half of their 4000 employees would come to Texas. They were stunned to find out almost 75% are coming. Why? Toyota said the number one reason is that the American Dream is no longer affordable in Southern Cal. They were in Torrance.
Getting crowded here in North Dallas though. But we got Pollo Loco!

Could be because nobody paid them to vote.
The HARD PART is understanding what 12% actually means. Does it mean 12% of all voters, legal or not. If so, then the low turnout makes sense...as there’s no reason for the Illegals to show up in this particular election.
NJ is undergoing the same evacuation/brain drain as CA; too expensive to live here, and pension obligations that ensure they’ll never dig themselves out of it. Lots of unhappy people, lots of foreclosed homes, few jobs (unless you count McJobs). In the past couple of years one of our wealthiest areas lost the Mercedes headquarters to Georgia; those jobs are almost impossible to replace as we transition to a strip mall/tattoo parlor economy...
