*Well now, the situation with the White House and African American political leaders is getting real interesting with Democratic Rep. Elijah Cummings saying he’s “happy” to sit down with President Trump.
Even though Cummings has no problem meeting with Trump, but he disputes the president’s assertion that he didn’t want to meet up, adding that, after all, Trump “is my president.”
Thursday afternoon Cummings – who serves on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee – spoke with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer who inquired if he would go over to the White House “ASAP” if he were to get a call to meet with Trump.
“Yes, I would,” Cummings replied.
“I’m happy to meet with the president. Keep in mind, this is my president, this is your president for the next four years,” the Maryland lawmaker said. “And I’ve said it many times, Wolf, those things that we can work together on, social security, making sure that people’s children can get into college and be able to afford it, jobs, infrastructure, I’m with him. But where our values clash, that’s a whole ‘nother issue.”
If you missed it, earlier in the day, at a 77 minute long press conference, Trump said Cummings backed out of a meeting on addressing high drug prices, and questioned if it was because Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer requested it.
Cummings made it known that’s not the case.
“I have no idea why President Trump would make up a story about me like he did today,” Cummings said. “Of course, Sen. Schumer never told me to skip a meeting with the president.”
“I was actually looking forward to meeting with the president about the skyrocketing price of prescription drugs,” he added.
We can only wonder what DL Hughley has to say about this.
I wouldn’t trust him with anything.
Elijah Cummings is working hand-in-hand with Federal Government higher ups to undermine Trump. History will prove I am correct. That man is right near the top five list of the worst enemies Trump has.
Okay, then who told him not to meet with Trump?

They better record it because, Cummings might claim Trump called him a nagger or something like that.

No, he’s a liar. The President said today at the news conference that Cummings had been invited several times to the White House and Cummings had accepted only to change his mind and say he would not meet. They were to meet about solving problems of the inner cities.
Cummings is controlled by someone else.
Cummings is a tool, nothing more. Assigned to any congressional investigation to make sure it’s impeded, discredited or otherwise ignored.
He should have his security clearance revoked. He’s a known opposition leaker — having leaked privileged information to targets of investigations several times.
But Nancy Pelosi recently said there was nothing she could work with Bush on, I assume she met Trump. Having Elijah meet with Trump and work things would undermine her.
Cummings would come out of such a meeting asserting that
Trump needs to put his money where his mouth is. The
CBC will not cooperate with Trump at any point yet the
Black population will reap the benefits of Trump
policies. The bottom line is that African Americans will
see what their Democrat politicians are all about. The
President has nothing to lose while Cummings and the CBC
can’t win. The media will give Trump no credit but
local Black leaders and ministers will. Score 1 for
President Trump, score 1 for inner city African Americans,
and score -1 for the CBC. I don’t think Trump is dumb
enough to be punked by Cummings and the CBC. I say that
Trump shows respect to the Black community by meeting
with their political leaders but then shows them that
their leaders are just Democrat party hacks by his
actions. Wait and see.
Cummings slipped under the radar as
he was known for collaborating with
the DOJ on covering up items about
the IRS investigations....he’s corrupt period!
The word “Cummings” fits in somewhere with the definition of weasel.
But now he has to meet Trump. Trump called out the who,e CBC in his pressed. So some will go, so will stamp their feet and not go but there is the photo op for the “what do you have to lose agenda” and get some things started. It also creates a wedge into the resistor types. Divide and conquer

Trump didn’t make up a story, he was speculating, which is what happens when one side stamps their little feet and refuses to play. I note the seeming 180 in attitude. These jackasses can’t play business as usual with Trump.
You know, the BLACK Caucus, AKA the elected RACE BAITERS. The congress critters that can’t just be Americans they have to interject race into everything.

This Cummings Shummer cover-up begs the question...what did Cummings know and when did he know it?
If Cummings was any more Looney, he would have wings and web feet.
Ms. Fudge needs to go to that meeting and put Cleveland's needs on the front burner.
