This doesn’t even take into account that President Trump is actively trying to drive a wedge between different groups in the democrat coalition and peel away more democrats.

I haven’t heard a single democrat denounce the Berkley riot or any of the other riots, the thousands of death threats against Trump, or the lunatic ranting of Madonna, Ashley Judd and others. I did see some condemnation of Lady Gaga for not going after Trump at the Super Bowl. So, I just don’t see the “civil war in the democrat party” that he speaks of, just a bunch of unhinged, deranged leftists who can’t get over the fact that the “smartest woman in the world” lost to a political novice.
God sometimes send the most unlikely of servants. Whomwould have thought that Donald Trump would be the one to save the Republican Party from itself?
The reaction to Trump’s action have pitted pragmatic, center-left politicians against protesting activists forming “The Resistance.”
Now wait a minute here. I thought both Obama and Hillary are ‘pragmatic center-left polticians.’ And both of them have encouraged the protesting activists. Fox News is clearly not in a very analytical mood in this screed designed to rehabilitate the Democratic Party.
All this DNC on life support is way overstated. All they need is the black vote to turn out, and some more illegals and legals, and they will take America like they took California.
I, for one, support their initiative and will continue to encourage them....
Where the Trump opposition jumped the shark is that they are not only attacking Trump, but viciously attacking Trump supporters and even those they suspect of being a Trump supporter. They are accusing anyone disagreeing with them of horrible motives and abhorrent attitudes. The result is a digging in and standing up to the bullying that hasn’t occurred before. The whiny babies are not eliciting sympathy, but anger, defiance and resolve.
And prior to Nov 8 those on both sides of the aisle were talking about the demise of the GOP.

Many Democratic disagreements with Trump’s executive orders are valid and there is a clear opportunity for opposition to Trump on the basis of their faults and flaws.
As abhorrent as the rioting and idiotic protests have been, it’s to the benefit of conservatives for them to continue, so long as it does not spread outside of leftist enclaves. The effective offensive fronts on the right need to keep up the pressure, in the same forms that have led to Trump’s electoral success. That runs the gamut, from Reddit and 4Chan to controversial campus speeches by Milo and others to President Trump and his terse but lethal Tweeting that drives even some on the right nuts. It worked. Keep going. The fools are driving themselves into the ground. Don’t give them a lifeline now.

Every time a major party gets trounced they change up the players and re-emerge in a few years.
The Republicans just did it (much to the anger and chagrin of the old guard).
This is not difficult to figure out if one steps above the noise for bit. Plus it helps to live through a few of these cycles to see it, or maybe even study history (gasp!).
I wish nobody would tell the Dems what’s going on. Let it be a big surprise!
