Take Off, eh ?
Sarah Palin would be a most interesting Ambassador to send Justin Trudeau’s way.
I’ve said it before that Palin should be used as a decoy for some useless but important sounding committee “position” within the administration.
The left hates her beyond anything and the media follow and hound her every move. Let her pull the media attention for her “radical statements” in her “useless” position, thus drawing attention away for real things that the administration can get done. i.e. while the media throws some tantrum over some crazy statement she makes, we can quietly pass things through without the media making a stink over it.
Canada is a pretty important position. I say we offer her the position of Ambassador to Cameroon. Amazingly fake news like msnbc and cnn will be setting up shop in the capital of Yaounde writing articles about how she’s ruining our eternal and valuable strategic partnership with a fellow UN country....on and on..........while back at home Trump & Company keep on MAGA.
Sarah will for sure go along with it—she loves playing the media as much as Donald does.
Shouldn’t it be Russia....then she could keep an eye on them from her house?
Make Sarah our Ambassador to California. Set up a US Embassy in Sacramento with the money saved from sanctuary cities. That will drive the left nuts.
Sarah would be very popular in certain areas of Canada. I'm dreaming of her being US ambassador AND picking up a seat in parliament. I can dream, can't I?
As a Canadian am 100% for it. The insane clown posse Liberal party here headed by Castro lover Justin Trudeau (along with the media organs of propaganda) will go apoplectic with rage. I guarantee you riots and sickening grandstanding in parliament. That should help the conservatives in the next cycle.
She can host events for all those Americans who fled when Trump was elected, maybe even visit a few at random.
She could take Justy Trudeau moose hunting.
I just did some research before posting, yea what a concept.
Three former governors have been Canadian ambassadors since 1979. Ken Curtis of Maine, James Blanchard of Michigan and Paul Cellucci of Massachusetts. The others appear to be a mix of career foreign service and presidential cronies. FDR appointed his cousin and then a career FS guy.
Canadian ambassadors seem to have a short shelf life of less than 4 years although both of Obama’s men served four years.
I am waiting for the day when Gov Palin replaces Pence as VP
Why would Palin want it?
