I’ve said it before that Palin should be used as a decoy for some useless but important sounding committee “position” within the administration.
The left hates her beyond anything and the media follow and hound her every move. Let her pull the media attention for her “radical statements” in her “useless” position, thus drawing attention away for real things that the administration can get done. i.e. while the media throws some tantrum over some crazy statement she makes, we can quietly pass things through without the media making a stink over it.
Canada is a pretty important position. I say we offer her the position of Ambassador to Cameroon. Amazingly fake news like msnbc and cnn will be setting up shop in the capital of Yaounde writing articles about how she’s ruining our eternal and valuable strategic partnership with a fellow UN country....on and on..........while back at home Trump & Company keep on MAGA.
Sarah will for sure go along with it—she loves playing the media as much as Donald does.
You underestimate Palin. She was a very successful Governor (85% approval), so she has plenty of Executive skills.
Granted, the media have thrown everything they have at her & she would be a distraction in whatever role. However much fun it would be trolling the opposition; Palin merits a more substantive role.
If Caroline Kennedy, with absolutely no real work history or knowledge, could be ambassador to a country as important to us as Japan, I don’t see how Sarah Palin, who worked her way up the governmental ladder in Alaska, could possibly do worse. And her husband and children are all aboriginal/first nations people, which is a big deal in Canada.
Interesting theory.
Except, well ...
Name some crazy statements she’s made.
You know, ones that didn’t turn out to be 100% absolutely true.
