PHILADELPHIA (AP) - The Latest on the presidential recount efforts in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin (all times local):
12 p.m.
Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein says her efforts to force recounts in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin are "about ensuring that all votes are counted and that voters can trust the system."
Stein made the comments Monday outside of Trump Tower in New York City. The news conference had a circus-like atmosphere, as some of President-elect Donald Trump's supporters heckled Stein...

Yawn
No worries. Rocky dee la fuente is covering the NV issue. Who ever the hell he is. I do recall seeing his name on my ballot and wondering who the hell he is. Nutbaggery.
PLEASE no more ugly woman.....
Starts that whole funny discussion....xo
Exactly. A complete audit of all voter rolls to remove the dead, the illegals, the non-citizens, felons who can't vote and those who vote in more than one state. Then require a photo ID to vote. And go to paper ballots only, no more machines. I'd add getting rid of early voting but I think it's too late for that.
In the meantime, as if I believed that at all, the state of Michigan can ill afford what she has thrust on us in costs.
I hate her more than I ever thought I could hate someone.
This is also an inducement to ultra-fringe candidates who know they can run even though they won’t win, but are confident they can cash in at the end, in terms of cash or fame or both. If Stein really wanted to assure the integrity of our electoral system, she would go away.
IOW the cameras would not go to her so she went to the cameras.
this is huffington waiting in her car during the California governor race.
this is about federal matching funds.
Jill Stein = Black-box Bev Harris
Or maybe standing needs to be based on being within, let’s say, 2% of the winner.

Yeah, she’s so freakin’ honorable. But no recounts in NV or NH?
She’s a vile disgusting human being.
How we do it here in Michigan. Not that difficult.
From Wikipedia: “in order for a candidate to gain the benefits of matching funds, they must raise $5,000 from 20 states during the primaries or have received 5% of the popular vote in the general election.” Stein would have no chance to reach the threshold.
:: I think it’s too late for that ::
FEC mandate specific to Fed balloting. Easy-peasy, lemon squeezy (look at the restrictions on the Old South, for example.)
Can someone help me with this.
She is a third party candidate. She did not even come close to being anywhere near Mr Trump or Mrs Clinton in vote count. Why is she wanting a recount of votes if she will NEVER gain anything from it. She only has a fraction of the total vote count that either of the two leading candidates have.
This does not make sense.
Re: post number 7, I followed the link to her latest lawsuit, opening line, The Pennsylvania voting system is a national disgrace. My comment: this woman and her lawyers are creating havoc in my state with a frivolous lawsuit. Why is this being allowed to happen? This is upsetting at a time when people want to concentrate on their holidays. Instead you have marauding lawyers coming in trying to overthrow our established and legitimate voting procedures with a campaign of lies and innuendo.
Boy she sure disappeared at the end of 2008. Wonder why?
:: about ensuring that all votes are counted and that voters can trust the system ::
Fine. Instead of recounting the POTUS votes (as which appears is being done) why not verify each ballot as to validity of the voter OR validity of the vote-counter?
She’s a stalking horse for Hillary, using Soros and/or Clinton money.
The problem I have here is that the Defendants are Democrats and I fear not likely to oppose the lawsuit with any zeal.
