...and if the results in each state perfectly mirrored the current RealClearPolitics average of polls in each state...why oh why are they so obsessed with RCP averages, which lag reality by about a week - with the movement in the polls since last week, between Obamacare rate hikes and Comey's bombshell, these averages are wildly inaccurate when it comes to the current state of the race - Trump is well ahead....

Personal opinion: Many, if not most of the polls have been cooked for most of the campaign. Pollsters are mindful that they must get the correct result, but they are willing to make that be their ‘final’ poll. So most the polls have been cooked in Hillary’s favor all along, and they are gradually and slowly adjusting so as to not make it too obvious. Add to that, that Trumps support is probably understated by the non-response factor.

I firmly believe that a 269-269 vote will give us Acting President Pence as the Democrats work with Never Trumpers to block/delay the vote.

This could easily happen as each state gets one vote, but the state needs a quorum to be able to cast its vote and if enough states fail to get a quorum then the final vote can’t even be taken. Delay, stall, and prevent 26 votes.

Do you think they won't use every trick they have to prevent Trump from winning -- especially if the press and all the talking heads were backing them up Constitutionally?
