Most Democrats are happy that Donald Trumps campaign is stumbling.
But some, looking at the long term, might think that a Trump win next month would be a good thing. Not for the country, they would explain, but for the future of the Democratic Party.
Just like Barack Obamas win in 2008 hurt Democrats in elections later on, Trumps victory would be terrible for the Republicans in future elections. Obamas victory seemed to be the prelude to a long period of Democratic dominance and control of the House and Senate. But it did not last long because Obamas victory provoked a powerful Tea Party-like response from an angry segment of the public....

that “angry segment of the public” is far past being just angry now.
We’re at DEFCON 2 now.
It won’t take much more to push us to 1
The conclusion here is: no matter which party the President comes from, the real-world results will be bad, so the other party will gain politically. This gloom-and-doom scenario presumes that the choice of President has only political, not real-world implications.
Trump is cutting this Gordian knot, saying that yes, he can make a difference, by changing the rules of the game to favor the people rather than the politicians and their cronies in business.
“Democrats are happy that Donald Trumps campaign is stumbling.”
Is it? Is it really?
One of the surprises in this election is that there are a lot of democrats disgusted by the democrat leadership, which is why Bernie came close.
Here is to hoping those democrats will vote for Trump to test their theory.
Democrats could benefit from Trump victory. How? We’re riding on a false economy. The media, the Fed, Wall Street, and a few other powers that be are propping up our economy for as long as they can to make obama look better. They don’t want a democrat and our first black president to be blamed for a major economic decline.
Unemployment numbers are a total lie. They’re playing with the labor participation rate and so many other statistics. They can only keep these lies for so long.
If Trump is elected, it’s his fault. We will then hear the lies from demos and the media about a good economy under obama for the next 30 years.
Exactly. If Trump is elected, the unemployment rate on January 21, 2017 will be 10%, and we will be in the midst of the Trump depression.
Liberals have gay marriage, do they want to be bombed/shot in night clubs and thrown off buildings? That’s what comes with 550% more Syrian migrant immigration under Hillary.
