How sanctimonious have we become?
Donald Trumps lewd and lascivious comments (of some eleven years ago) have left the American people horrified and scandalized to levels never before seen in our lifetimes!!
GIVE ME A BREAK!!
This recording of a couple of worldly entertainers, The Donald and Billy Bush, trying to impress each other with their tales of conquest of the ladies, behind closed doors (they thought), is the kind of October surprise that we have come to expect from the left at these final days of a presidential election. Judging by what weve seen in past campaigns, it will get worse.
Lets get real! Gutter-level language of this nature is the order of the day in most locker rooms and frat houses all over America. (Im told the level of banter that goes on in the girls locker rooms and bathrooms in the schools of our land aint much more civilized!)
To the Republican Party pantywaists who feign horror and pretend their virgin ears have never heard this kind of degrading talk about women, I say this: Bull (bleep)!!
Donald Trump grew up in Queens. Not surprisingly, he talks like guys who grew up in Queens, New York, talk.
I grew up in a religious home, raised by parents who were about as religious and straight-laced as you are going to find in this day and age. I attended a Catholic all-boys high school in inner-city Chicago, and quickly got a taste of the modern-day world! I heard this kind of sophomoric, macho crap just about every day! And Im talking sixty years ago!!
If you want to hear street-level lingo at its most vile, go down to your neighborhood record store and pick up a few of the more popular rap music recordings. If you can endure more than a few minutes of this art, think of this: This is what our kids are listening to, not an obscure tape of a couple of older dudes braggadocio.
It turns out that this damning tape has been held in reserve for quite some time, with the intention of springing it on the American public in order to distract attention away from Julian Assanges latest Wikileaks email dump. We will probably see more distractions of this ilk dredged up as election day draws near. Lets face it: The only effective weapon that Hillary has is to try to bring Trump down to her level. She cant run on her failed record. She cant run on Obamas failed policies. She cant run on her inability to tell the truth. She cant run on her unlikability. At this point, pathetic, gutter-level politics is all the Dems have.
Trump’s comments were more amazement that women (groupies) allow these behaviors.
I would have brought up Comcast. They are a major Democratic supporter. I would have asked Hillary what she thought about Comcast’s numerous porn channels and titles of featured performances. And, no, I don’t watch that stuff.
This whole controversy is being pushed by a false narrative on what Trump was actually discussing on the tape. He was not talking about anything he actually did to anyone including Nancy. He was talking about how SOME women when they are in the presence of wealthy or powerful men allow themselves to be physically contacted. This “groupie” phenomenon is a common experience for rock stars and other public celebrities. They context was that Trump was appearing in a cameo role on a soap opera and was meeting the actress who was going to play the part of a business woman who would come on to him in the scene. Robert DeNiro might even consider this “method” acting preparation if he wasn’t so delusional about Trump.

sanctimonious press releases with porn hub still open
Wouldnt surprise me none.
crude and lewd over corrupt and incompetent
The Democrats appear to prefer corrupt and incompetent. Its been working for them for decades.
It backfired horribly!
I dont know If you check out Google, CNN, ABC, NBC, et al, all seem to think Hilarious was the big winner! Surprise, surprise!!
if it werent for sanctimony
Tragically, that is the way it seems.
Actually the Democrat party’s history since the 1960s has been lewd, corrupt and incompetent. Think the late Ted Kennedy for example.
It is only the crude aspect that seemingly offends Democrats.
Truth!
Thanks!

It’s like 2000.
They have teams of people who go over an opponents life history with a fine tooth comb, seeking items that said opponent might be ashamed/embarrassed about. The juiciest bilge goes in a data base, to be used at the most opportune time.
Our Republican boneheads are too high-minded to use these sleazy tactics, not because they are so honorable, they are just terrified of being accused of political incorrectness.
who is really going low
There are no depths to which they will not sink, in order to achieve their objective. The end justifies the means.

Shemp is ‘Horrified’
I stopped watching that fool after he shot off his self-righteous yap while covering Hurricane Katrina.
Its not like hes Sean Penn
Sean Penn is a Hollywood liberal. What is considered heinous behavior in a conservative, is permissible in a Hollywood liberal because this is their artistic expression.
Bush could easily have defused that by simply stating at some appropriate point the he at one time had a drinking problem, and that he no longer drinks. It may not have even crossed his mind.
Trump could do the same by talking about incidents like that one, which would serve as a preemptive strike.
Wake up, America!!
Were all waiting for that, buddy.
(I dont recommend holding your breath.)
if Donald was black
These lyrics would be deemed far too tame for your average rap record.
I will take crude and lewd over corrupt and incompetent any day.<<<
Absolutely!!!!
People have become so numb to what true rude and crude, and lewd REALLY is, but you defined it well.
Like some others here I find it ironic that the self righteous, sanctimonious asses are so horrified about this after over 20 years of rap lyrics, the great increase in obscenity in movies and TV, and the general decline in morals in this country over the past 50 years.
I’ve even seen the words shit and asshole used on TV lately. That would get people prosecuted in 1970. Some of them, especially the women, should know that the graffiti in women’s restrooms is very...colorful...to say the least, yet they pretend outrage.
Where was their outrage when Obama blew his leverage by reducing the sanctions that got Iran to the table to begin with? Where was their outrage when Hillary and Obama both lied about Benghazi? Where was their outrage when the IRS persecuted conservative political groups? Where was their outrage when Bill lied under oath at a Congressional Inquiry? Where is their outrage now when we see more and more every day of Hillary’s lies about virtually everything you can think of?
I’ve heard the way guys talk when the women are not around, and have heard the way women talk when the guys are not around. Both can be plenty obscene. I posted specific examples in another thread but will refrain here. I was accepted in a small group of female friends, and once they got to know me they let their hair down, so to speak, when I was involved in their “hen sessions”. The language rivaled that of the guys in the locker room. I’ve gone into women’s restrooms by mistake, or by necessity, what I saw written on the walls was not much different than in the mens’ rooms.
Those pretending outrage don’t fool me. People like Paul Ryan can take a hike, I know what frat guys talk like. I didn’t go to college, but have had many conversations with college age guys when I was old enough to be their father. I lived in and around a college town - College Station, Texas, for 8 years and had a number of friends there, including a professor at the college. I heard the way they talked...the professor was an exception, I rarely heard him curse at all. Most sounded like sailors, women included. Paul Ryan doesn’t fool me...or John McCain, I was in the navy too, I know quite well how sailors talk. McCain is a slug anyway.
this does not mean I have any less respect for the ladies I’ve heard using that kind of language, I consider it the same as I do when the guys do it, it goes with the territory. My opinion of them only declines if they use that kind of language when in public or around children.
Some do not have that kind of discretion. I was at the local library in Louisiana, when a young black girl about 8 or 9 came to the door. As she grabbed the door handle she looked at me..”it’s f*#kin hot out here” and went inside. How did a girl that age pick up that kind of language? Parents with no moral compass.
Another young girl, white, was sitting beside me in a car while I was using the Internet at the same library. (most libraries have free public access to wireless internet) I glanced at her a couple of times, after a few minutes I looked over and she flipped me the finger. She was maybe 8.
I’ve listened to rap lyrics, not by choice, numerous times while sitting at red lights. Some of the most obscene language I’ve ever heard, and grammar school kids are listening to this while their parents probably know nothing about it. Or maybe they do and don’t care. Well it’s the latest “thing”...
That is what I find offensive. I watched a video last night of several former presidents caught on tape. JFK, LBJ, Nixon, Bush...all throwing f bombs around. Just locker room talk, they weren’t in public and thought the conversations were private.
What I hear at red lights is a different story. I watched two high school guys leave the school one afternoon, I could hear the bass drum half a block ahead of them, when we stopped a ta red light I heard “I’m gonna F you in the A bitch” repeated several times. the little old ladies in the car on the other side of me rolled up their windows. The two PUNKS turned it up and made faces at them. I have never, EVER wanted to yank a punk kid out of his car and stomp him to a pulp SOOO BAD...but I would have been the one taken to jail, assault on a minor. And this kind of thing is accepted in today’s America...
While idiots like Paul Ryan, John McCain, the Bush clan and Hillary feign outrage over what Trump said in a private conversation years ago. I would love to hear their opinions concerning Hillary’s foul mouth and treatment of those who she obviously considers beneath her.
Hypocrites...
