New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is being vetted by Donald Trump's campaign as a possible vice presidential running mate, according to reports.
The New York Times and other media sources are reporting the campaign has sent official paperwork to Christie to start the vetting process. The reports are one of the first solid indications of who Trump, a businessman-turned-politician, might want on his ticket.
Other names that have been mentioned include Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence and South Dakota Sen. John Thune. Other names including former Trump's former challengers Marco Rubio, John Kasich and Ted Cruz were also on the reported short list....

Probably what happened was, Trump asked for the vetting papers, and the idiots in the media said "Oooh! Oooh! Christie's a Veep pick! That's our story!"
When in reality, he may be in line for AG.
I am aware is that what changed your mind? How do you justify lies, TPA, Coker and his globalist ideas? Again I hope and pray Trump doesn’t choose anyone so untrustworthy as Cruz I don’t want someone so like Obama- thin skinned and dishonest as VP.
He’s in the process of raising our state gas tax $0.23 per gallon with a proposed drop in state sales tax from 7% to 6% effective in a couple years.
