Conservatism has been hijacked by a professional conservative class that makes a living by selling the word while losing all the important conservative issues. Their power and money is threatened for their abject failures. Trump gives conservatism a fighting chance to come back to the American people, and he does not belong to their groups.

So true — a professional conservative class.
I have posted in other threads that ‘conservative/conservatism’ has become a litmus word. Pols must use it to get elected. Once they get to DC, they can turn ‘moderate’.
The variant ‘conservative’ groups have watered down the intent and meaning. Romney was ‘severely’. GWBush was ‘compassionate’. JBush was ‘reform’.
Each defined/defines his own brand and labels it ‘conservative’ to win the election.

I caught on to this back when Romney was the nominee in 2012. Turned off the whole con artists net work, milking a fake 'conservative' ideology. Laziest bunch of people on God's green earth.
And there are still some who will claim that Rush talking, has done more for 'conservatism' than any other living being.
