“Paul Ryan said that I inherited something very special, the Republican Party,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “Wrong, I didn't inherit it, I won it with millions of voters!”

Paul Ryan?! I’d rather take my chances with Donald Trump. Ryan is turncoat.

ABC, predictably, is seeking to foment a war between Republicans. The "American Broadcasting Company," is probably the least "American," of the major networks. (Aren't they also connected with ESPN, who has been firing sports legends, lately, because they dared express Conservative social views?)

The effort, here, is to elevate Speaker Ryan's pique of the moment into a celebrated cause, which it most definitely is not. As for ABC's opinion of core Republican principles? Just how many of their talking heads have ever backed a Republican Presidential candidate? If Ryan has any sense left, he will repudiate this effort to elevate his pique.

Let me make one other point. Is there any more basic core Republican principle than putting America First? Anything? Also, speaking of core principles, is not the Republican Party the one that first acted decisively in the 1920s to get a handle on unlimited immigration? Was it not the Democrats, who since 1965 have been associated with the flood of often incongruous immigration, often over Republican objections?

One could go down the list of major issues, and they would see that Donald Trump's stands are more in line with Republican policy over the past century, than are those of many whom the now Republican dissidents earlier supported, in the Primaries now coming to a conclusion.

But, again, this is ABC trying to stir up discord in our ranks.

I said that right away, we don't live in a monarchy, Trump earned this with his votes of support. Ryan is say out of his league and NEVER should have said anything in public until he discussed with Trump. I lost ALL respect for Ryan.

Ryan couldn’t even beat the laughing-hyena Biden in a debate. And he thinks he can outwit Trump?

If the Republican party had, in the first place, anything like a soul D Trump would still be in NY playing big fish in a little pond.

Let’s never forget that Lyin’ Ryan is one of the Rino scumbags who promised everything during the 2012 election season and then delivered nothing.

Lyin’ Ryan deserves no respect. He’s one of the scumbags that we would like to see out of office.

Lyin’ Ryan is as much of a conservative as my Bichon Frise is a pitbull.

No

The Republican Party is third party. Has been since they blew off the voters in 2010 and again in 2014 the others who put them into the majority in order to stop Obama the worst president known to man

The Republican Party put Trump where he is by fooling around with our country our laws our future our identity and our kids’ future. Our legacy.

The pundits can dream today of Ryan being equal to or in the same league with or in the same realm as Trump, but tomorrow we will see that it is the Republican Party that is third party by their own choosing by not considering the power and the will of the voters who give them power

They can join Trump or go away. He owes them nothing. We owe them nothing

As far as I can see, the “soul” of the republican party has been for many years, the neo-con artists and their open-borders toadies. In other words, the party had no soul, just greed and warmongering.

Well, I predict that this fact will make the difference.

The most voters in GOP history are going to put Donald Trump well over the top as the nominee. The most voters to EVER vote for any individual through the GOP Presidential Primary for president.

And they did in a field of 17 candidates.

Think about that.

There is a message being sent loud and clear and Ryan better heed it, or his opponent in his own GOP Primary who is proudly stating he will support Trump, may well upend the new speaker.

The Cheap Labor Express is not going to just give up.
They have spent millions buying the GOP, they are not going to let the citizens just take it back.
