Ted Cruz, his father, and David Barton |
Just in time for the GOP and Dem National Conventions, Robert Morris and friends want to get 75,000 pastors in Dallas Cowboy Stadium to pray for the nation. Morris announced the big solemn assembly in his Saturday (8/8/15) sermon at the Southlake campus of Gateway Church...
The national conventions for both parties are also in July. This looks like a perfect occasion to organize for the GOP nominee. The timing makes it seem more like a political event than a prayer meeting.
Cruz is getting desperate for money. I just got an email accusing trump of intimidating delegates, “You see: Donald Trump has a consistent pattern of inciting violence. This election is unlike any we’ve ever seen...the future of our nation is at stake and tensions are high. So, we have no choice but to take these threats seriously.
That’s part of the email...scaring people.... This is the same message he had the night of the Chicago riots.
Cruz will win. Trump will be very disappointed when all of his delegates go to him on round two.
Pastor Ted
“How can so many of you Freepers rail against a man that...”
I have not railed, here or elsewhere. I have evaluated the man, based upon his history and behavior, and rationally argued against his candidacy.
Talk is cheap, and most of what Cruz has done in the Senate has been to futilely “rail” [to use your word] for what I now conclude was opportunistic grandstanding as a preparation for his hubristic presidential campaign.
I gave him the benefit of the doubt early on, but the pattern persisted, and I concluded that he is just a voraciously ambitious political animal - yet another Harvard lawyer who has never really produced anything in the private sector - whom I do not trust; he just happens to be one who tries to aggressively leapfrog over his fellow, more senior, Senators, very much at their expense, for which they despise him.
Furthermore, his connections to the Bush dynasty, the CFR and the NAU are credibly substantiated; all emphatically undermine his claim to being a DC outsider.
I also, later, researched his birth, and concluded that it did not matter how “conservative” he might or might not be: He is Constitutionally ineligible, and a Mark Levin can disingenuously “rail” against my kind all he wants, but it will not magically make Cruz a Natural-Born Citizen (and must I once again point out the absurdity of his adherents - including Levin, overtly, and Limbaugh, covertly - boasting of him being the most “Constitutional conservative” in the running, when a true Constitutional conservative of his native situation would refuse to run, knowing that he was ineligible?).
I have never called people like you stupid, but Mark Levin has repeatedly called people like me stupid. Before you “rail” against people like me for opposing Cruz, perhaps you should look at the behavior of many on your own side of the debate.
Cruz won’t win anything except the 4 states he won thru voting. The others were GOPe door prizes. Cruz will not see 700+ delegates on the first round.
Reality sucks, Cruz supporter.
Deal with it.
“This election is unlike any weve ever seen...the future of our nation is at stake and tensions are high”
This part is true.
All the more reason to vote for Trump and not allow the GOPe to give us a candidate who is predetermined to lose graciously to Hillary, since the GOPe leadership already agreed to help Hillary get elected.
GOPe is in bed with the Democrats for a Hillary presidency.
