Opinion? Essentially none from Trump and maybe a few of the more confused from Cruz. If Kasich quits people who’d be inclined to vote for him will either not vote or register and vote in the Democratic primary, where they belong. Trump is delusional if he thinks a Kasich voter sees him as an alternative, more like a carnival freak show barker. Kasich won’t formally withdraw as he fantasizes about being a convention (in Cleveland, BTW) fifth ballot favorite son compromise candidate.

Kasich has Ohio’s winner-take all delegates. There was a question that came up awhile ago on FR about what would happen to those delegates if Kasich drops out. It might be that by the rules (assuming there are rules) that they would automatically go to Trump on the first ballot.
