"No matter what he does, Trump always goes up in the polls!" That's the line Trump followers routinely employ when their man dives face-first into the latest unseemly controversy du jour -- including, most recently, spreading conspiracy theories to justify attacking and threatening Ted Cruz's wife. The reality is that while Trump's boorish showmanship doesn't harm his standing among a certain percentage of the GOP primary electorate, it most certainly hurts him among voters generally. The brash billionaire's overall unfavorable ratings have swelled to the mid-60's, spiking into the stratosphere among women. And now we have a fresh data point pertaining to Republican voters in the crucial primary state of Wisconsin, where voters head to the polls next Tuesday. If Trump manages to prevail in Badgerland -- which boasts a robust and distinctly anti-Trump conservative talk radio culture and a conservative governor who's endorsed Cruz -- his victory would likely confer a sense of inevitability upon Trump's candidacy. With New York looming, this is about as close to a must-win as Cruz is going to face in the month of April. Is ‘boom’ the new annoying meme? http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/search?m=all;o=time;q=quick;s=boom
Prepare yourself for a pile of posts yelling BS POLL.
No candidate can win a general election these days when a large percentage of female voters despise him.
If they feel that way, I say we send all the Syrian refugees and illegals to them. BOOM!
Are journalists actually putting “BOOM” in their titles now?
We are devolving
I really don’t like this excessive use of “boom”.
Say “boom” if Hillary is arrested, some poll doesn’t warrant a “boom” unless the result is truly shocking.
Some women must like him enough to sleep with him. What is it? 8 at last count?
Yes, it is.
I’ll have to wait until after the WI primary to comment on this one.
Hillary’s arrest would warrant a “Boom goes the Dynamite”!!! not a simple Boom
Boom!!!
Lol. That there, is funny.
Whomever one might support.
Yep. Neither Trump or Cruz can win woman’s votes. They are flat out unelectable. Run a contested convention and put in Walker or Perry.
Yaaaawn.
Is this the poll that was taken around Madison?
For the hell of it, let’s assume this poll is correct and Cruz picks up five or six delegates on Trump in WS, WHERE are the other 80% going to come from? NY, NJ, CA?
He has no chance to get the nomination and is only staying in to hand the choice over to the RNC.
Ted Cruz Closes Gap on Donald Trump in South Carolina, New Poll Says
Cruz rises against Trump in South Carolina poll
South Carolina poll: Cruz gaining on Trump, Clinton ahead
Poll: Cruz cuts into Trump's SC lead
New NBC/Marist Poll: Cruz Within Striking Distance of The Donald in South Carolina
As far as I’m concerned we are being only bad choices for our leader, which some prophecy I once read predicted for the near-end times.
At least I can hope it replaces the ‘weird trick’ garbage.
