As usual Wayne is correct
You need to have your Ned’s checked
True words
Nine delegates from the northern Marianas
Kasich ain’t getting out
Why do they think Ted is a good Christian ? What criteria are they basing that on ?
‘60% disapproval rating by Trump is absolutely abysmal. That is going to be a monumental challenge to overcome.’
Democrat negatives are much greater. No energy. Low turnout. Permanent crossovers from DNC to RNC. And who has been driving this entire shift?
Trump.
He’s the GOP’s golden goose, and they want to cut him open.
My state’s primary is still 2 1/2 months away...the more candidates that stay in the better! I am even looking at these candidates:

Nope. Trump is not in landslide territory by any means.
I think you are overlooking the fact that the majority of GOPe power brokers will keep their jobs and all the benefits of power regardless of if the GOP candidate wins or loses. They very little incentive to win. In fact the only way they could lose their grip on power is if someone who isn’t like minded wins and gives them the boot.
No incentive for winning and plenty of incentive to preserve the status quo.
This isn’t as simple as thinking they want to win. If they can win with their vetted guy...great. If not, that’s ok too. What they can’t have happen is have an outsider win.
When Cruz blamed Trump for the violence in Chicago, he became dead to me. Cruz is not conservative and he can go to hell. He’s a TPP, corker and h1b supporting career politician born in Canada and not naturalized until the 1980s.
I think the GOP may do option 3, hand nomination to Cruz and then sabotage him behind the scenes to help Hillary win. This way They can get rid of Trump, preserve the uniparty because the anger of the swindle will be buffered because Cruz is in second place. There are trillions of $ at stake, don’t underestimate the evil of the uniparty..
Yes and we got Carter as a result.
Well written! I supported Cruz and then gradually saw these things that him and his wife supported, and it sickened me. Just another damn politician but a relative newbie with too much overt religion for the GOP to fully embrace him.... He’s cutting in line and they don’t like that.
Exactly!!
Voting to let Obama give Iran nukes (and that is what the Corker bill was) isn’t a principle that fits in with my definition of conservatism.
It would be painful to watch.
"Look Ted, if you drop out now Trump will be assured of having a clean majority of delegates. That would assure the GOPe can try to manipulate the outcome at the convention"
Ted:"Well OK, if that's really the best thing to do." (Starts toward the door)
"Hey, look everybody! The coward Cruz is giving up! Quitter! Loser!"
He should, but won’t. He’s delusional, his rev. father keeps telling him he is the “anointed one”.
And an open convention will give us Romney, Jeb or Ryan.
Bank it.
So what? They’ve built more and bigger building in Dubai and Shanghai.
