CRUZ: I wish Marco, Jeanette, and their four kids the very best
TedCruz.org ^ | March 15, 2016 | Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX)

HOUSTON, Texas -- Presidential candidate Ted Cruz today released the following statement in response to the announcement that Marco Rubio has suspended his campaign for President:

"Marco Rubio is a friend and a colleague who ran an optimistic campaign focused on the future of our party, conservative principles, and uplifting the American people. The Republican primary was stronger because of the ideas he brought forth. Marco's story embodies the promise of our great nation. I know he will continue to be a champion for limitless opportunity in America, and I wish Marco, Jeanette, and their four kids the very best."

Did he blame Trump for the violence again?

Of course he does, they are good buddies who have fawned all over each other on the floor of the Senate. And now he wants Marco’s endorsement and delegates.

Interesting. Classy and nauseating at the same time.

Rubio is blaming Trump for the violence that is going off in his head.

well maybe Ted isn’t the most evil guy in the universe. And actually, even Marco beats the Bejeebers out of Hillary.

Ted, I like you, and I voted for you in Texas, but it’s time to hang it up, and get behind Trump. We need all hands to defeat the Hildabeast.

Marco would be smart to endorse Cruz and campaign for him.

It’d be laughable if it wasn’t so pathetic. I wonder how he/she’s spinning the GOPE meeting.

“Marco would be smart to endorse Cruz and campaign for him.”

Yes he should; or Trump; but he should have done it a week ago.

Still, better late than never. I think he isn’t smart enough yet to do it.

But, it would be a good idea.

I don’t think that Rubio’s endorsement will make much difference. Marco didn’t really have a base... he was the second choice for many but the first choice for few. It might even be a little bit of a negative for him, since Cruz’s base is supposedly anti-establishment, while Rubio was the establishment favorite.

Look at the breakdown for Florida. He won one county, ONE, in his home state. You can probably guess which one.

Compared to Jeb who still hates Marco for ending his chances. Even though he did not.

I’d say Cruz. Cruz would beat Hillary. I don’t think Trump will.

This loser is talking tonight. How disgusting. He ended up like Bernie who decided to sit out. Cruz should not speak tonight. He doesn’t deserve it. Rubio did to say goodbye. Cruz the snake needs attention on his 3 third place finishes.
