Overflow crowds in Peoria greeted 2016 presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on his third of five Monday rallies in Illinois the day before Tuesday's pivotal primary elections.
Cruz commented that republican frontrunner Donald Trump "may be the one person on the face of the planet Hillary Clinton can beat in a general election" according to political reporter Rosie Gray.
Cruz mentioned Cook County politics, garnering boos from the crowd in reference to Chicago, Illinois. He slammed Trump over donations to politicians such as the disgraced and imprisoned Rod Blagojevich, the Cook County Democratic Party, and Rahm Emmanuel....

Sorest winners because they’re terrified their too-good-to-be-true candudate is going to deflate now that people are starting to notice what their dear leader is all about. They subconsciously know they inhabit a political bubble which could pop at any second... that’s where their insecurity and primal need to re-inforce each other in their bloodlust comes from. Hyenas, really, with those crazy crossed eyes and burned-out neural knot.
Did you have to put the word -gladly- in there?
Reagan is the only mainstream candidate I voted for gladly.
Dole was so bad that I promised myself that if the next nominee was not as bad as Dole, I would vote for the less bad. Dubya was not as bad as Dole. So I had to keep my promise to myself.
You are so right. Weeks ago, when Trump used a certain attack on Cruz, Rush ranted on Trump about it for an entire day saying that Republicans can never use leftest attacks on another Republican. Today, Rush said Cruz's attack on Trump was no big deal. Claiming the thuggery was Trump's fault is just primary talk.
To hell with that. Forget Rush. Forget Cruz.
that is funny. I needed that. Thanks.
Wow. And you accuse Trump supporters of being nasty. I think it’s best if we ignore each other. Thanks.
So poorly attended that had the laying on of the hand.
“Its the armpit of the country.”
I just spent the weekend there. Had several good meals, saw Celtic Women perform, and had a wonderful time.
One thing Trumpaholics can be counted on for: meaningless nastiness without limit.
Interesting. A nasty response about nasty responses.
This took place in the Civic Center Theatre which seats 2,200, not the Peoria Civic Center which seats 12,000.
Just doing the journalists' job for them, reporting actual numbers. Overflow Crowds is a bit ... editorial ... in this context.
I used to like Cruz....not anymore.
See My post a little above - exactly the point I was trying to make. The headline made me scratch my head, so I googled the event ... he was in the little theatre.
2200.
“One thing Trumpaholics can be counted on for: meaningless nastiness without limit.”
“Trumpaholics”???? “nastiness”???
You must have a room temperature IQ not to spot the irony in that.
2200 ... seems like I wasn’t the only one asking.
So the times when Trump attacked Cruz from the left, did you say "forget Trump".
What about when Trump criticized Pam Geller, when the terrorists almost killed her, did you say, "forget Trump"?
BWAHHHAAAAAAA!!

Looking forward to the next FoxNews debate with Trump & Cruz going one-on-one? It should be informative.
Unlike you, she’s not brain dead.
