Ask Cruz a question on the VA. Specifically how many officials within the Tezas VA system have been received on their jobs as a result of the scandals there. What evidence does he have that anything a has changed within the VA hospitals in Texas.

I asked those questions of Johnny Isakson who is running for reelection in Georgia. His answer were the typical political BS. I don’t know, I will have someone check into it and get back to you (they did and said they would let me know once they got a response from the vA. Still waiting and that was over a month ago). His response on what has changed was the legislation was passed to allow the VA officials to be terminated. He did not know of specifics.

One of my pet peeves is the political BS from elected officials. I thought Cruz was different but his actions related to my original post just shows he is no more concerned than any other politican about things that really matter to citizens.

The va is a specific pet peeve of mine that has been full of corruption for a long time under both Republicans and Democrats. Neither want to fix the problem.

I'm in Illinois and I'll tell you point blank every Cruz supporter I know is PISSED AS HELL at Cruz for blaming Trump for the violence at Trump's rally on Friday night.

They're not voting for MistrusTED. He's pissed them off into voting for Trump.

See you at the polls on Tuesday!

And Trump thinks Planned Parenthood is a good organization (except for abortions). Which really is all they do.

Trump thinks the mandate for insurance should remain the law.

He thought Scalia was wrong about his reading a statement about affirmative action while on the bench. Of course Scalia was smeared by the left and Trump went right along.

Trump has all the personal morality of Bill Clinton but according to you he is the best candidate between Cruz and Trump. I can think of many more issues that Trump is inferior to Cruz.

We still have free speech in the country and according to the powers that be on this forum I am allowed to voice my opinion on the suitability of any of the candidates for political office.

Trump entered the race for one purpose only and that was to destroy the Republican Party and the Conservative movement. He is succeeding. I will vote for the ignoramus this fall but in the meanwhile I will do everything in my admittedly limited power to deny him the nomination. By the way my vote helped Cruz win in Oklahoma.

If Trump gains the nomination and wins the election you will probably see another Richard Nixon or Gerald Ford as President. Great choice that. If he loses we are stuck with at least four years of pure hell.

I realize all that and unless we fix some of the things Trump would fix, all that will make no difference. Abortions will still go on unchecked under Cruz. Unless there is a man who is not afraid to do the impossible, none of that will make any difference. If Cruz is elected and if he performs miracles, I’ll be the first one to say he changed from a snake in the grass to a decent President. It’s been hell under obama and I want a change on Jan 22, 2017.. not a year after that, or months after that. I want someone to tell Ryan he and congress can go fly.. they had better work with the new President, like they did with obama... he got by with all he tried. I really don’t like to hear a word from ryan or mcconnell.. they’ve insulted us all out here enough... and I’d like to see them shut the blank up.

You are free to comment on Free Republic. I did not contact you, you contacted me and my comment. This weekend, I’m a whole lot angry... if we don’t get a change, it’s gonna be another term from hell... and our country can’t stand that.

I don’t trust any of them. I judge by other means. I am a fighter and the hardest thing the last 8 years is to see the capitulation of all in Washington and the media. no fight.. let obama have what he wants. It angers me. I do see fight in Trump and I see a man who does not waste time. I can’t afford to trust any of them.. that’d be foolish. I watched grown educated men judge obama on such foolishness as the crease in his pants.. he could do no wrong. I despised the man first time I ever saw him.. smooth, slick and hated the USA. If you put your trust in Cruz, that’d be dumb, wouldn’t it.
BTW I lived in OK years ago.. had a son born there.. it was the hottest state in the union that year. Tornado warnings every evening.

Doesn’t matter what the polls say, it’s nose down full speed ahead, let the chips fall where they may.

“If Trump gains the nomination and wins the election you will probably see another Richard Nixon or Gerald Ford as President”

That is the best possible outcome of a Trump win. Likely he will make Nixon/Ford look like Reagan (but most likely we will be stuck with Hillary - I CAN NOT TAKE THAT!!!)

I find it hard to believe the people on this board have fallen for Trump’s con.

I am in Illinois and my wife is a Cruz supporter and is not pissed at Cruz at all.

I am more an anti-Hillary supporter this election, which means NO TRUMP since Trump means 4 years of Hillary.

In Illinois, a new CBS Battleground Tracker poll has real estate mogul Donald Trump and Cruz now locked in a statistical dead head, 38 to 34, for first place.

REALITY: CBS HAS TRUMP OVER CRUZ BY 4 IN ILLINOIS

In the NBC/WSJ poll for Illinois, Trump leads with 34 percent, with Cruz close at 25 percent. Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Sen. Marco Rubio come in at 21 and 16 percent, respectively.

REALITY: NBC/WSJ HAS TRUMP OVER CRUZ BY 9 IN ILLINOIS

The new CBS poll has Trump and John Kasich tied at 33 percent, with Cruz now at 27 percent.

REALITY: CBS HAS TRUMP OVER CRUZ BY 6 IN OHIO

I have *GOOD* news, serf--err, comrade--err, Conservatives.

The Cruz chocolate ration has been INCREASED again, first from 35 to 25, and now it is INCREASED to 20.

Since you are so much smarter than me, a lowly Trump supporter..

I don't know how smart you are, but I do know that (among many other stupid things) Trump has said that he "loves the poorly educated [people who have voted for him]". Only those who are hopelessly drunk on the Trump Kool-Aid would still support a candidate after he has so deeply insulted them.

And the so called mouth piece of conservatism calls people that he disagrees with 'low-information' voters... and his listeners swoon... The words 'poorly educated' is a reflection upon the educational system. Ya know ... common core... Trump speaks over your head.

Nonsense. Virtually no one who is poorly educated in this country has anyone to blame other than themselves or their parents -- and even most people with bad parents can overcome that by the time they are voting age.

Trump speaks over your head.

Trump speaks like English is a second language he learned on a junior high playground.

I would say you have no clue how bad public education has become.. In my school district, by the year 2000, middle school 'English' class became 'communication arts' and no longer were spelling test given. My oldest lucked out and had spelling and definition tests all four years of high school. My younger two got screwed...by the public school system, their 'spelling' lessons were left up to them recording stuff in a journal.

I totally disagree with you on how Trump speaks. Trump speak is a challenge to make one think for themselves... You think Trump is talking down when he uses the phrase 'poorly educated', and I am reminded of the degradation of public education, because I literally experienced the dumbing down of American children.
