A series of new polls released Sunday show Sen. Ted Cruz surging in key Tuesday battleground states, including Illinois, Ohio and Florida.
In Illinois, a new CBS Battleground Tracker poll has real estate mogul Donald Trump and Cruz now locked in a statistical dead head, 38 to 34, for first place.
In the NBC/WSJ poll for Illinois, Trump leads with 34 percent, with Cruz close at 25 percent. Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Sen. Marco Rubio come in at 21 and 16 percent, respectively.
In Ohio, Cruz is now nipping at the heels of both Kasich and Trump for first place.
The new CBS poll has Trump and John Kasich tied at 33 percent, with Cruz now at 27 percent.
A Fox News poll taken earlier in the week had Cruz at 19, suggesting conservatives in the Buckeye State are moving strongly behind Cruz as the main challenger to Trump....

Yes!
“NBC/WSJ”
lol
Bernie voters crossing over?
Surging but losing every single state and in the 20s practically everywhere lol
Guess scraps are tasty when you’re starving.
I see you didn’t post the part where Cruz has surged to a 20 point deficit in Florida.
NBC/WSJ has been completely discredited.
LOL NBC/WSJ push polls.
Cruz can get the BLM thug vote now since it’s what he wants
haha too soon to see the hit Cruz is going to take for supporting radical leftis groups and blaming it on Trump.
Cruz double-downed today on BLAMING TRUMP for the attack that could have cost Trump his life.
I wouldn’t blame Obama if something similar happened to him (as much as I disagree with Obama). I don’t think Cruz up to the task of running for President, at least not this cycle.
More fraudulent push polls by the desperation club cadre.
This cannot be true. Cruz is supposed to be finished because he blamed Trump for his violent rallies. I’ve read it here all weekend.
I’m not going to believe this or any poll that doesn’t show Trump running away with this.
Two observations.
1) The latest polls show momentum for Cruz.
2) Cruz has often out performed the polls to date.
It is possible Trump wins everything. It is possible Kasich wins OH, Trump FL and Cruz wins IL/MO. Tuesday evening will be exciting watching the returns and analysis.
Oh yah, Go Cruz!
I am impressed. Not with the trends, which may or may not materialize in the actual election, but in the audacity of continuing to “predict” the outcome, even after sometimes serious lapses in selection of polling samples, and really misguided prognostications extrapolated from those already flawed polls.
But it keeps a bunch of interns occupied. Interns who, after all, should not be paid much anyway.
“NBC/WSJ”
Those guys again?
In the NBC/WSJ poll
Cool! Cruz is going to win in South Carolina again!
Keep in mind the WSJ/NBC poll has not been very accurate and is biased against Trump. I remember their poll right before SC and it was totally off.
A nine point lead is considered close?
Herd poisoning. Don’t fall for it. Commie playbook, used by oligarchs to sway public opinion.
Trump. The million tyrants next door hate what he
is doing: join us, or live in comfort on the plantation to which you have been assigned.
