RUBIO’S support will go to CRUZ.

I read and watched earlier that the turn out was low.
Is that true, and if so can you direct me to where it states turnout?

I guess 1 out of 3 is much better than 0 out of 3.

It’s not votes, it’s who count the votes.

Idaho has a large Mormon population who could have been influenced by Mitt Romney’s speech.

Lots of Mormons in Idaho. Perhaps when Willard spoke, they got in line?

Cruz wins in states with closed primary - only Republicans vote.......
Trump wins in open primary where independents and even Democrats can vote for him....

It will not matter unless Cruz can gain significant support outside his core constituencies. Mormons that can have that kind of influence are condensed in few states. He lost all of the South except his home state of Texas (where he fell short of 50%). There are many states left where he is not expected to do well. Outside of caucuses, in how many states can he finish first ? In a general election, what states other than reliably Republican states can he carry ?

At this moment on Fox News, it looks like Megan Kelly is on her knees smoking Ted Cruz with an audience stacked with all Cruz supporters cheering them on.

Indont get the offense and worry over polls.
Wins at the polls that matter, for any candidate, is the job.
If the Cruz camp wants to pump up the team with some rah rah, go ahead. Win more on election day, and it wouldn’t be necessary.

Cruz would be the worst we could nominate out of the 4 candidates. He targeted a well defined segment of the Republican electorate (ideological conservatives and very strong evangelicals).
There is probably quite a file on him regarding anti-Catholic statements that will also doom him.
I don’t believe the polls. He has no chance of winning a general election.

Cruz was the only candidate to campaign in Idaho. About one fifth of the population is Mormon. It is more than likely Romney, a Mormon, had an impact there. I was not surprised that Cruz won there.
