Another person has entered the race for the 43rd Legislative District House seat. And if voted in, that person hopes to make history.
Danni Askini has announced her intention to run for the 43rd Legislative District -- an area that covers much of Seattle's popular neighborhoods, including downtown, First Hill, Capitol Hill, South Lake Union, Eastlake, Wallingford, and Ballard. She announced Tuesday her intention to run for the position that will be left vacant as current State Rep. Brady Walkinshaw moves on to run for the US House of Representatives.
If Askini wins, it could place a unique voice in Olympia.
"I would be the first openly trans person elected to a state house in the country," Askini told Mike McGinn on his podcast "You, Me, Us, Now"....

I am sure Danni Askini will get all of the bathroom voters as the director of the Gender Justice League based in Seattle. The legislative position was held by Brady Walkinshaw, who vacated his seat to run for Congress. His seat is considered the “gay seat” in the Washington Legislature. It has been held by a gay man since the late Rep. (and Sen.) Cal Anderson took the seat nearly 30 years ago. It is evident that the purpose of “equality” is not served by these Lefties. Instead it is their purpose to grind away the social fabric until decadence is so chaotic that the seats of power have to come to the rescue. Hello Big Government.
Instead of a seat, these cross-dressers all want a peek in the women’s bathrooms. Watch for cameras that look like wall tiles.
Everywhere these cultural Marxists have the ability to affect law or policy, they will do so. This is a fundamental attack on the gun culture. It ensures that people traveling through Federal portals (airports) cannot have any overt sign of the gun culture on them. You might laugh, but this is how they do the culture war.

I am a tad confused about the trans thingy. A man, presumably attracted to men is pretending to be a woman. Presumably, he intends to be attractive to men. But hetero men will not be interested as they are after real women. Homosexual men will, presumably be after another man and not a woman. So, who, exactly would a trans be attractive to?
Have I missed something vital to understanding the trans phenomenon?

There are men who think they are women and retain their sexual attraction to women. I’ve been in the women’s bathroom and had the mentally ill man in the dress say its fine, he’s a woman, and he’s a lesbian, but he knows I’m married.
I hate to take advantage of this candidate to put in a bad joke, but I can’t resist.

I agree with Camile Pagalia - women’s studies courses need to include at least one biology class. She believes sexual orientation and social roles are flexible - but biology is immutable.
