TMZ has just obtained the 911 tape reporting that Dick Van Dyke was sitting in a car that was engulfed in flames, as one caller said, "I don't think he's aware it's on fire."
Several witnesses placed calls, saying the situation was dire. Dick was not moving out of the Jaguar.
One funny thing ... no one seems to know what a Jag looks like. It was misidentified as a BMW and a Mustang.
TMZ broke the story ... a good Samaritan stopped and pulled the actor out of the vehicle, just before it exploded in flames.

It was known as Progressivism at the time. Ironically enough, it gave us the 16th and 17th Amendments in 1913. Later it would give us Prohibition, but at least the Ps had the decency to get a constitutional amendment, unlike today's prohibitionists.

I’ve always heard of “Bye Bye Birdie”, never saw it and it is tomorrow on TMC and I set the recorder so I don’t like hearing this about Van Dyke, too bad.
I don’t think Dick Van Dyke organizing or emceeing this event is going to sway anyone to vote for Bernie, just because he’s “Dick Van Dyke”.
If he was 40 years old, not 90, I might be upset with him. But I look back on his body of work, and the joy and laughter he brought to so many people’s lives, completely overshadows him emceeing an event for a person who will never be elected.
My opinion only, Dick Van Dyke was one of the funniest men on television and I still marvel (and laugh out loud) at his comedic genius when I watch reruns of the Dick Van Dyke show.
