Much has been made about "Democrats for Trump," are the issue of cross-over voters. Some have speculated that that Democrats who want Trump at this point are just trying some version of "Operation Chaos." Maybe some are, and they're idiots if they think Trump would lose big to either Sanders or a version of Hillary that accommodates the far-left.
But in reality, there is a group of people today who indeed are disaffected former Democrats given how the SJWs have taken the party over at its highest levels.
Some of Trump’s (formerly) Democratic supporters are people who:
1. Might believe gays should have equal rights and should be able to get a marriage certificate from the state, but don’t believe that being gay should be promoted. It should be seen like being handicapped; not a moral failing or bad thing, but certainly not a good thing. Not something to be promoted, like MTV does (and has done for 20 years, see the show “Dismissed†for examples of this). Gays getting married means that gays are less likely to go out and be promiscuous, get and spread STDs, etc, which is even worse when some of them might experiment with straight people.
2. Believe in promoting equality of races, but not in promoting punishment of those who didn’t have it as hard. “White males†are not evil! Michael Moore, you are also a "Stupid White Man," unless of course you're trans-racial, like Rachel Dolezal or Michael Jackson.
3. Believe in taking care of people, but don’t believe in socialism. Government can provide tools to facilitate the beginnings of upward mobility, not create an illusion of moving up because the rich are dramatically moved down (like Bolshevik Sanders wants to do with his 90% taxes).
4. Believe that women should have equal rights, not extra rights like being able to claim “rape†if the girl did consent but was voluntarily drunk, even tho if you voluntarily get behind the wheel and kill someone, you are responsible. Also believe that given how much better ratings NBA has than WNBA, that they don't warrant "equal pay."
5. Believe that those with a Y-chromosome are males, those without are females. PERIOD.
6. Don’t trip all over themselves to call non-whites “people of color†or gays “LGBTs.â€
7. Are happy America was founded and don't bash Columbus Day as evil "indigenous 'genocide'."
7. Believe that while blacks may get treated unfairly be some individual officers (like Rubio said) at times, overall, the institution of the police is a good thing and must be honoured. Black leaders like Sharpton need to do better jobs of telling their people to only dislike individual racists, not label the societal institution that keeps everyone safer than they’d be without, “racist†as a whole.
9. Believe that while America, like all nations, has flaws, it is the greatest country in the history of the world, and the hope of the Earth.
10. Admit that while religious extremism exists in all stripes, the most common manifestation of religious extremism occurs in the form of RADICAL ISLAMIC TERRORISM, which costs governments across the world billions to fight and thousands of man-hours of labor to foil, unlike Hindu, Jewish, Christian, yada yada extremism.
11. Believe that Israel is morally superior to its Islam neighbors given the civil liberties that exist there, unlike in Islam countries, and see that the issue of the West Bank is peanuts compared to other armed conflicts/occupations.
12. Believe that America needn't erase monuments to historical figures who indeed were in the overton window of the time or erase names off buildings. After all, after Woodrow Wilson at Princeton, what's next? Washington owned slaves, so should we eliminate the capitol or the state's name? Is Ohio/Wisconsins' name "cultural appropriation?" Communists like Cornel West and Noam Trotsky must be kept away from the White House, and so must their candidate Bernie Bolshevik Socialist Sanders, and his followers.
You get the idea. Whats awesome about Trump is that he is not merely just a rebuke to the opponents of the ideas above, but a baseball bat to the face of the SJWs in a way that even other Republicans are not, since the liberal media pushes the ideas alluded to above. Only Trump takes on the media. Jeb tries to go along with their narratives, ditto Kasich. Classical liberals like me and others will leave the Democrat Party in droves and help make America great again.

agreed on the “Merry Christmas” point; fact is an ultra-majority of our country is Christian, and even most Jews accept that. For the most part, only the Islams and the far-left white non-Jews (weirdly enough) have a problem with Merry Christmas.
On immigration ObamahatesPACoal, I agree as well to a point; we must build a wall, tho I think getting rid of the 13 million illegals currently here is crazy talk. Not gonna happen because of logistics, and yes, for the most part, the ones currently here do the jobs Americans won’t.
But you know what? Enough people don’t want our culture changing radically bc of illegals, and unlike what liberals think, those who indeed want our culture (and yes, demographic makeup) to remain as is are people too! Build the wall, deport the criminals, and pay for the wall in part by taxing the illegals who do stay at a higher rate and charge them a penalty.
And BigOlFreeper, on the gays, like I said, its not evil or immoral, but its not right or desirable, nor should it be normalized or promoted to normal status.

Some how the Cruz guys are either not seeing this or not acknowledging it. It may be their social circles or location?
I’m for Trump, but he’s wrong on Bush the W...and cops that screw up royal. Whoever the county detective or lab tech is, if CA uses them, will likely be fired after the feds get what they want out of Apple.

Number one and main reason; People are fed up with government and both political parties. Number two is that Trump raised the issue of illegal immigration and putting an end to it with the wall, deportation and guarding the borders. Trump defeats political correctness and that is key to solving our nation’s problems.
