So. Ted and his dirty tricks are going to steal SC like he stole Iowa?

The ease with which super PACs can raise money—no contribution limits, no spending limits—means groups like Keep the Promise have resources that campaigns may not. In the case of Keep the Promise, that’s thanks to a handful of billionaire families who decided Cruz was their guy. One Keep the Promise backer, Robert Mercer, is a hedge fund billionaire who keeps a very low profile and has drawn criticism for tax-dodging.

Fat cats donate millions, pay hundreds of disinterested pukes to knock on doors of empty homes... for an ineligible candidate. Nice.

He added that Keep the Promise is the only super PAC he knows of that has any sort of ground game in the state. Paul Lindsay, a representative for Right to Rise, said his PAC also has a professional canvassing operation that recently moved down from New Hampshire to South Carolina

So Ted Cruz lost the very conservative and evangelical vote to Trump in New Hampshire, and this same operation that didn't work in New Hampshire will move to South Carolina?

What's the definition of insanity again?

I like Cruz because he sees the Lib and RINO plan to destroy this country. Do I expect them to like him? NO.

Good thing none of these people will want anything from the Federal Government after Ted is elected. They all look as of they are all surporting Ted for the good of the country. We need a consistent Conservative who will take on the Washington Cartel and slash the size of the Federal government.

Of course, all these billionaires supporting Cruz wouldn’t dream of wanting anything in return.

Paying people to go around knocking on doors. How do they know that these people actually do anything but turn in a time slip? Essentially, they are mercenaries, with no loyalty to Cruz or anyone else, just in it for the money.

My bet is that new Billionaire funded band of merry mercenaries will soak the billionaires for a bundle, and Cruz will see little benefit.

Weak minded people can be swayed by door knockers to vote for someone. Others just get pissed off having their dinner interrupted and vote for another candidate.

Has anyone noticed how easy it is to vote more than once for the Drudge online GOP candidate poll?

Trump doesn’t have any PACs, much less super PACs; so unlike Ted, Trump isn’t gonna owe a billion dollars worth of quid pro quo “favors” purchased by the plutocrats and oligarchs via campaign “donations”.

Cruz has made steady progress. At this rate we may be in good shape for the 2020 election.

I like how Cruz has gone from “scourge of the establishment” to “the same damn thing as the establishment” and no one bats an eye.

Must be nice to have tens of millions of shadow dollars to pay people to go canvas for you. Wonder if they’re threatening to go bring out the neighbors to help shame people into voting Cruz, or what kind of info they’re collecting to sell to the other campaigns?

But I know, I know. Who cares? “This is how it’s done now.”

Trump is polling at 42 percent in New Hampshire. There is no ground game that will overcome that big of a lead. The best he can do is try and keep second place away from the Robot.

South Carolina, as you may know, is kind of a big deal. It has a large population--4.8 million people--and a bad reputation because it's a place where candidates love to break out their dirtiest tricks.

Large popualtion? Arizona has 6.7M, and no one ever said Arizona had a large population. By population, South Carolina is ranked 24th among states, putting it solidly in the middle.
