If Iowa was Sen. Ted Cruz's stomping ground, New Hampshire was set up to be a resounding defeat.
The evangelical values Cruz campaigned on in the Midwest were in short supply in the secular Granite State. He -- and everyone else -- polled double-digits behind Donald Trump. But though Trump snagged his first win in Tuesday night's primary, Cruz notched a comfortable third-place finish after Ohio Gov. John Kasich and avoided a brawl that experts said are likely to bruise the weaker candidates in the race.
So you guys keep posting these retarded “Cruz lost but really won” articles all day, and somehow think no one will show up to dissent?
The Littlejohn Coliseum, is a 10,325-seat multi-purpose arena in Clemson, South Carolina, United States.
Can’t blame a candidate for trying to spin a RESOUNDING DEFEAT by, of all people, John Kasich, but it doesn’t change what happened there.
If you’re so confident that Trump is unbeatable and will sweep all other candidates before him, why do such articles bother you? I don’t get it.
“Donât think so. NH is his state of least support “
We all know that’s spin to mitigate the damage.
“SC will most likely end up a battle between Rubio and Trump for second place”
Let me guess...you are expecting everyone that goes to a church to automatically vote for Cruz, right? Because Jesus and the south?
Are we playing Trivial Pursuit?
Lol.
Yeah, you know... The same people who said Rubio won Iowa.
Oh yeah so coming in first by dirty tricks and cheating in Iowa translates to 3rd place in Iowa which translates to 1 in South Carolina?
What are they using Common Core math?
I’m more amused that you guys actually think no one notices the pathetic spin attempts.
It’s more like you are trying to convince yourselves of the absurd.
And Bernie Sanders got that many more votes than Trump.
Your point?
Trump basically tied for third in Iowa. Trump is finished.
And that means Trump tied Rubio for 2nd then in Iowa.
See how that works?
The pundits...LOL. If the pundits had to pay a $1 for every time they were wrong, they’d rival the national debt by now.
66,000. Ted lost to Trump by 66,000 votes in NH. That shows me that Ted lost bad.
140,000 to 83,000. That tells me Trump has 57,000 more votes than Ted so far.
36-20. That’s Trump’s lead in SC before the NH results. That tells me Cruz is a decided underdog.
Trump up 21 in MI over Rubio before Rubio’s implosion. Trump will break 50 there.
Trump up 14 in Nevada before NH.
When Ted breaks 20 in a poll ping me. Until then the little SEC fantasy math is not going to work because Trump is more popular there than Ted as it is and Trump will be on a big winning streak by then.
Tell me again how Ted can beat Trump??
New Hampshire is among the least likely, most inhospitable states for Cruz, yet he still placed third. South Carolina and the SEC states are much friendlier to Cruz.
So now losing is actually winning. Ah, the age we live in.
They make it up on volume... or something.
“He basically tied with 2 others for third. So really he tied for 5th place.”
Bush basically tied with Gore. So really Bush tied for second place.
