In NY groups, they know where Ted stands on the issue but he assures them he "trusts the system." Ted told them he "stands for New Yorker's right to determine what kind of laws they want for themselves!"
Now some conservatives (even some of my friends) don't like that. They have now been conditioned to think these laws to be the same for everyone and they want that law to be no gay "marriages!"
This is how liberals claim that the "religious right want to tell them what to do in their own bedrooms!"
The uncomfortable truth here is, it's the liberals want to demand that everyone "respect what they choose to do in their bedrooms" and demand also that it becomes the law of the land!
Nothing wrong with Iowa values, and nothing wrong with 10th Amendment.
What is wrong is tailoring the message to the audience. That is what Obama did. That is what Hillary is doing now. It smacks of slippery career politician speak. UntrusTED.
The first state to legalize abortion should have been expelled from the Union—because a state that legalizes murder is not a republic. Only states with a republican form of government may belong to the Union.
