I’m sensing a disturbance in the sarcasm confluence.

I honestly don’t think Donald Trump would disagree with Beck’s points about the presidency, but I strongly disagree with the notion that a Trump presidency would be some kind totalitarian fiasco worse than what we have now.

There is a condition of faith in our elected people. I don’t want a Glenn Beck or any other ideologue telling the president what to do and not to do.

Sometimes the guy at the top knows what best. Steve Jobs, thought he knew what was best for consumers when the all said he didn’t know, and he was fired by his own BODs.

We DON'T need a HISPANIC president. We need an AMERICAN president. Enough of this PC garbage!

Exactly. You can't out-divide the dividers. They'll divide up your money after they've taken it from you. They'll even divide up your baby and sell him if you let them.

"A president's job is to get government out of the way of the people."

This was a faint echo of the Glenn Beck of yore, before Fox & Ailes --in just 20 months-- built him up to the top talker on cable, bigger than Phonejob, and then just as suddenly, kicked him off the mountain to a hard landing. Mentally, it's clear that Beck has never really recovered from Fox's betrayal.

‘I listened to the entire Glenn Beck speech, and while it was a little too long, he hit on some great points.’

Beck is at his best when he’s funny and fun to listen to. He’s wandering in the desert right now.

FRegards ....

‘[Savage] never fails to launch off on someone but I’ve yet to figure out which group he truly loathes more ...’

He wants to be underestimated as a wacko. It allows him to be an iconoclastic equal-opportunity basher.

I was angry at him for years but let it go. He’s trying to help our nation the best way he knows how.

FRegards ....

‘I dont think this is going to mean much.’

Beck has pull, Mark Levin has pull, and so does Savage.

That influence will shift according to what they say and do today and all future days.

Spanish vote 70% to 40%.

Your math skills match the rest of you gibberish. I suppose you rail about being conservative and immigrants assimilating.....yet when faced with it you somehow think it's bad.....interesting.

You’re trying to reason with a Cruz/Beck hater and Trumpbot. Give it up. They are just like any liberal progressive: They do not espouse reason.

I bet the Donald has this as one of the many ace in the holes for the upcoming 1-28 debate as an alley-oop and slam dunk regarding all of the candidate’s positions on border control.

Over the last few months I have developed complete confidence that Trump knows exactly what he’s doing 100% of the time and damn that feels good...

The local station here dropped him a couple of years ago because of his incessant insane rants. They got way too many complaints the next morning during their local talk shows and began losing advertisers.

For some reason he thinks he can compete with Rush, Sean and Levin but around here he got the boot.

THANKS for the information.
If he lost advertisers he lost money for his sponsors. No wonder he got cancelled.

“Savage is a legend in his own mind. Those who constantly have to tell you how smart they are tend not to be.”

You mean like Cruz, who tries to get people to think he’s the greatest “principled” conservative in the last 50 years, all the time while holding his hand out to anyone that will give him a buck, from NY banks to NY homosexual donors that worked long and hard for same-sex “marriage”. He could care less as long as the bucks roll in. This is apparently “principled” conservatism to his supporters.

We true conservatives will pull out all stops to make sure the next president does not have a Hispanic surname. Vote ‘murican, dammit.

Point I was trying to make is Cruz HAS NEVER claimed to be hispanic and his supported is 99.9% white conservatives. He made a conscience decision years ago never to learn how to speak Spanish, even though his last name is Cruz and he wanted a career in politics, starting in Texas. Greg Abbott, an Anglo through and through speaks fluent Spanish and his father is not Spanish. Just strange that as smart as Cruz is he never gave a damn about being able to learn the language of his father’s people which is about 50% of the voters in Texas and in a few years will be the language of half the voters in the United States. Just strange to me.

First, what does this have to do with my post. I was commenting on Savage and said nothing about Cruz.

Second, since you brought it up, Cruz has academic and professional credentials that Savage could only dream about. I would guess Cruz has about thirty IQ points over Savage as well.

Third, since we're talking about smarts, you might want to let the following graphic sink in for a moment:

Hispanics make up about 25% of Texas population. Of that amount about 40% are eligible to vote...about half of that number actually vote. Conservatives in Texas regularly get 30-40%. Ted Cruz got 38%. I would guess his parents made a deliberate decision that he be fluent in English only....that is quite common in Hispanic households in Texas!!

Having the ability to campaign well is only good if the person is fighting for your values. Not so good if they’re for expanding NSA powers of surveillance, for a health care system that covers everybody universally (another socialist safety net), and for opening relations with Cuba, all positions Trump is currently for. Nevermind if they recently flip-flopped on core issues like abortion. Someone who doesn’t have a clear, longstanding devotion to the conservative cause will not even be able to understand what kind of judges he should appoint, and that goes for all judges, not just Supreme Court. I don’t want the judges Trump “likes” to be appointed...they’ll probably include a lot of good New York values judges.

As for immigration, Trump didn’t make it an issue. Cruz and other conservatives made it an issue by vigorously opposing Gang of 8. It was an issue in the last primary too. Trump’s plan had been to give amnesty to the “good ones,” as he told O’Reilly 5 years ago. Now he added in that they’ll be deported first, then brought back. It’s an insignificant difference. And I don’t believe that will ever happen. I’m sure he’ll fall right back to letting the “good ones” stay and tell us something like he got us a great deal because it’ll save us money.
