WASHINGTON/NEW YORK (Reuters) - Ted Wade hasn’t cared about politics enough to cast a vote in a U.S. presidential election for almost a quarter of a century, back when he supported Ross Perot’s independent candidacy in 1992.

But Republican Donald Trump's 2016 White House bid has motivated Wade to get involved and he plans to support the real estate mogul in Nevada’s nominating caucus next month. Trump is a "non-politician" who can fix the "chaos" in Washington, he says.

There are many PURE conservatives. Goldwater was one. Problem is they do not RESONATE with majority of people. Only a former democrat, divorced, and with Hollywood background and transformed conservative such as Ronald Reagan can RESONATE with voters and have crossover appeal. So we have to choose..a Goldwater style debacle or Reagan style democrat voters crossing over. Trump can win New York, and then can lose either Florida or Ohio, and still get a electoral victory.

He has dealt with the shrewdest people in the world, in expanding his empire. What has Hillary done except politics and create a total mess in the middle east. I have been a conservative since about 1960 when I voted in my high school election. How long have you been one? I held my nose and voted for those last few candidates but no more. I support Trump 100%. Finally someone speaks my language. If we do not fix illegal aliens coming into thus country, we can not fix anything else. We need to send these so called refugees back where they came from. I have been reading horror stories about their actions. I find it very odd that most are adult men. The “kids” are no better. Even the females are suspect. They have no regard for human life. We need a very strong military. What Obama and the politicians have done to it is a disgrace. I include the reps in that, too. They have lied too many times. This country can do anything the people set their minds to do. Real education needs to be taught n this country, not common core junk, either. Kids need to go back to 4 years of history, English, math and science. They need to be taught a semester of state history and one semester of Civics. They have no idea how this country was started, what the founders went through to fight the Revolution. From what I learn from talking to teens, they need at least a semester of geography, too. They have no idea where anything is. Get rid of these useless classes that do not help anyone. Bring back shop or whatever it was called plus home ec. Something that has been discussed on FB is having school gardens. Kids today have no idea how we get the food we eat. Shoot, some think the stores raise the beef, pork, etc. Ok. Enough.

Every other alternative is a RiNO hack and Cruz is hiding his amnesty dream. Trump is the one with the qualifications to get some things straightened out. No other politician has what it will take. They have their own little club and their own big money people and things will remain status quo. We’ve given them the house. We’ve given them the Senate.
