WASHINGTON -- A New Jersey imam will be sitting Tuesday in the same place where House members last year voted to restrict Syrian refugees from coming to the U.S.
Imam Hamad Ahmad Chebli of the Islamic Society of Central Jersey in Monmouth Junction will be watching President Barack Obama's State of the Union address in person as the guest of Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-12th Dist.). The speech traditionally is given in the chambers of the U.S. House.
"We will be, all of us, under the roof of the Congress," Chebli said by telephone. "Who can say, 'So-and-so is better than so-and-so?' We must respect each other. That is my simple message."
Watson Coleman said in an interview she invited Chebli as a response to anti-Muslim rhetoric in the U.S. The words have gotten harsher following terrorist attacks in November in Paris, where Islamic State supporters killed 130 people died, and in December in San Bernardino, Calif., where a Muslim couple shot 14 people to death....

This is so politically tone deaf that I am reminded of Queen Elizabeth being photographed giving the "Nazi" salute before the Nazis were revealed to be the monsters they were.
I predict the United States will eventually, perhaps soon, realize the Nazi monsters were inspired to their atrocities by the Islamists, who gave them the idea for the "Final Solution."

Someone please tell this person that THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES is OUR HOUSE - not hers! We don’t want our House soiled and there’s no way we would invite them into our HOUSE or our homes. Had to look her up and can’t say there was any great surprise! I think there are going to be more muslims at the SOTU speech tonight than there will be plain old patriotic Americans.. What a farce this has become!
