The Donald is coming to town next week. Donald Trump's appearance will mark a rare occasion for Vermont, drawing attention from a party front-runner with New Hampshire's primary only weeks away.
Free tickets sold out quickly for the appearance by the Republican poll-leader but many seats may remain empty by the time he hits the Flynn Center Stage Thursday.
Free tickets to see Trump take center stage at Burlington's Flynn Center for the Performing Arts didn't last long once news broke of his coming appearance.
National polling averages place him 17 points ahead of his next closest Republican competitor. But on the first day of the New Year, this reporter struggled to find a single fan in the state's biggest city.
"I'm not a Trump fan, I'm not a supporter of Trump, but it would be great to hear him if I could get to see him," said Terence Keating of Fletcher....

The amusing thing is the crowd just loves the hecklers! Trump actually enjoys the brief episodes. I have seen stand-up comics that also loved handling hecklers :-)

Beth Sightler is among a large group of ticket holders who doesn’t want hers, but has no plans of giving them up.
“The idea was to get tickets and then just not go as a form of protest,” Sightler said.
Sightler is silent on how many tickets her group has, but suggests they account for more than 100 of the venue’s 1,400 seats. They may decide to attend the show in silence or turn their backs on the candidate.
“I think it’s really important that we’re conscientious about how we respond to this,” she said.
Even if they did tickets are not sold out on Trump’s website, and a ticket doesn’t guarantee entry. Trump said before that he overbooks and a ticket doesn’t guarantee entry. There are thousands with tickets that can’t get in to each event.
Beth could be a Hillary supporter. They tend to be more stupid.
