Donald Trump wrote in a blog post during the 2008 presidential campaign that Hillary Clinton would make a "great" president or vice president.
Buzzfeed unearthed an archived webpage of the blog post posted on www.trumpuniversity.com from March 2008 when he said the Democratic presidential nomination was still far from decided.
"Hillary Clinton said she'd consider naming Barack Obama as her vice-president when she gets the nomination, but she's nowhere near a shoo-in. For his part, Obama said he's just focused on winning the nomination, although at least one member of his team said Clinton would make a good vice-president. (I know Hillary and I think she'd make a great president or vice-president.)," Trump wrote.
Buzzfeed had previously found another blog post Trump wrote in December of 2008, following President Obama's victory, in which he praised Clinton again.

I will fight him on domestic policy but right now I want someone who will fight to restore America.
Yes, it’s unfair to consider what he said then about the lovely Clintons knowing he would become the standard bearer, a new hobby, a couple of years later for real conservatives.
Yeah, thankfully, only real conservatives fought the Libs. You are always on the side of phony conservatives, like Putin and Trump. How does it feel phony cowboy?
That is one problem I have with Trump. He has no voting record to look at. Because of that we have to look at his past political connections, including endorsements, contributions and party affiliations. When we do, and find something that indicates he might be more liberal than conservative, we are told that he has evolved, or that we have TDS, or we must be in the tank for someone. Why is it unfair to contrast Trump’s political history to Cruz’s?
Then there is the excuse that he was just being a successful business when he was pandering to the likes of Hillary Clinton. Are we saying that making large sums of money is more important that upholding principles? If that is true then why do we hold Washington lobbyists, ambulance chased lawyers and used car salesmen in such low esteem?
That is true if Michele Obama or Kim Kardashian ran they would probably do just as well in the polls. Sad but true
I don’t know. What’s it like to be a loser?
Ask your man Putin and Trump. You’re always praising these frauds.

I guess you miss the point of Trump. He isn’t a politician whose only stock-in-trade is words so they spend their entire career making sure that they only say the RIGHT thing. So, if they have to lie, they lie. Whatever a professional politician says, you know that it is designed to benefit them and only them.
He is something that is very rare in politics: a man who became famous by doing actual things. You know, things like you and I do (unless you are a career politician too). Like Trump and 99% of the people out here in the country, we let our work speak for us professionally and that frees us up to speak off the cuff, without the spin doctors and analysts parsing every word we ever spoke.
But, the words that he put into print in his books are the finely crafted work that spell out his philosophy of work, deal-making, and the vision for this nation. I notice that the pundits spend a lot of time picking apart every statement he ever made on camera to find the perfect sound bite, but none of them dare to go into his books where it is easy for us to read the context of his statements.

Just curious, were you a Sarah fan back in 2012 who hated every candidate because they weren’t pure enough and you wanted Sarah to get in the race?
Why don’t you get real. Trump was being polite at the time. Duh
Oh good gosh.....I bet if you tried hard enough you can come up with Trump statements on both sides of every issue out there. His supporters don’t care.
