First Cruz needs to start polling better. If he is way behind in the polls he is not going to be winning anything. So far it looks like Trump will run the table.
Trumps momentum is like a runaway freight train, he has the mojo now to win Iowa and the rest of the states.
People are looking for a LEADER. They want someone to kick ass and chew bubble-gum simultaneously. That person is Trump.

Its a well thought out article, Cruz can do it..his biggest obstacle isn’t Trump, its the establishment.
As much as I admire Trump’s stance on a variety of pressing issues, I will always vote for a strict Constitutionalist over a Celebrity any day.
Because all of us in every other state are just waiting to see how the ethanol farmers and church ladies in IA vote so we can follow their lead. /s
When one candidate of 12 is at 35 and nobody else is even at 17 THERE IS NO SECOND PLACE so I don’t know where Cruz is but saying he’s in second place and “surging” is silly.

Trump said he postpone his trip to Israel and reschedule it at a later time when he is elected president to meet with BiBi.
So we won’t know Trump’s true intentions for Israel or the matter over Jerusalem as the undivited capital of Israel until after he is elected president.
Indeed he is. Cruz demonstrates his capabilities in leadership, strategy, and an understanding the importance of a ground game.

There is nothing significant about a conservative/evangelical winning Iowa.
That won’t impress anyone.
When a moderate wins Iowa- that’s impressive!
Iowa will be a pyrrhic victory if Cruz wins it at the cost of moderate’s support.
The media will celebrate him if he “BEAT TRUMP!” in Iowa for them, but not to his advantage LOL!
Of course he should do the best he can everywhere, but doing really well in NH and SC is very important for him.
