Congress actually “approved” McCain’s eligibility because he was born on a US military base. Don’t tell me these people aren’t pre-selected. This was also done because they knew Obama would be running. If it got to hot McCain’s eligibility would make Obama’s INeligibility a moot issue. See how it works?

McCain was not born on a military base. He was born in a civilian hospital outside of the Canal Zone. My sister was born in the same hospital. When she went to register to vote she found out that she was an illegal alien and was supposed to have been reporting to the post office each year. Dad got it fixed for her, but it was a mess.

Please check your facts.

Congress didn’t approve McCain’s eligibility. They passed a non-binding resolution stating they believed he was eligible. (Likely a signal to the courts where they stood on the issue.)

McCain was not born on a military base. He was born in a hospital in the Canal Zone. Regardless, military bases are not considered U.S. soil where citizenship is concerned.
