Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush said Monday night that GOP front-runner Donald Trump "will be in decline" the next time they meet for a debate in mid-December.
Speaking at a closed-door fundraiser in Dallas, Bush also accused some Republican presidential contenders of being "in the witness protection program" when it comes to immigration reform, because they have backed off their previous positions on the issue. He suggested that revamping American immigration laws might help avoid the kind of terrorist attacks that struck Paris last week.
Bush spoke at the Dallas home of Amy and Malone Mitchell, who are members of the campaign's "Texas Leadership Committee." An audio recording of the event was provided to The Washington Post by someone in attendance, who asked for anonymity out of concern for potential retribution....

Well played, Captain.
I saw his speech today, one of his strongest yet, massive enthusiastic crowd. Wasn’t there in person, saw it on youtube, i watch every one of them, he is slowly changing, adapting, but with true sincerity. Only notes he keeps is maybe dates or latest figures, never uses a teleprompter, its like the old days when your grandparents visited and tell you stories when you were children, you are just mesmorized by it.
I loved to ask my grandmother stuff about the Hindenburg, Titanic, the SF earthquake. What were highways and cars like, how much was food then, about radio or the theaters.
Trump has that same sense of oratory ease, its goes left, it goes right, doubles back, and then he gets back to where it starts and there is your journey, but its enjoyable listening to him. Its not rambling or loosely connected, its from his heart!
I wish people would stop calling him a master of a con artist.
He does not deserve that. He is human and has volunteered to do something that only he can do, and it seems like he was destined to do.
You Go Don Quixote Yeb!!!! And take Pancho Sanza Rubio with you!
Good point there.
How can this man be so clueless?
Where is Yeb! still getting his funding since he keeps declining to the point of irrelevance?
Actually, it was Je$$e Jack$on, but they are a lot alike.
And the quote was even less literate than the one you gave:
“Stay out da Bushes!”
What made it even more ridiculous was that he had the audience repeat it, and most of them had a hard time wrapping their mouths around the ebonics of it. They kept trying to insert “of”, also.
Yep
Jeb just keeps withdrawing from reality. Sad.
Not fair to Quixote. He was nuts, but he had a sense of nobility. Yeb not so much. Well, maybe the nuts part.
Not much Trump can do or have done that will change that because he is the only hope at this moment.
He reminds me of the slow kid whose only shot at employment is to be a bag boy for the family grocery store.
He is a complete humiliation for those supporting him.
Actually, we need to repeal the existing law, which was designed by Bobby and Teddy Kennedy to turn the U.S. into a Third World country, because white people just weren’t voting Democrat. (JFK had to steal the 1960 election.)
Close the g*dd*mned GOP primaries!!!
It is all a fix. I remember George Bush saying Oh, I’m gonna win with a look on his face that told it all. Trump and the others are there to entertain until the media tells the 20 per cent who they are to vote for. RNC will be nominating Jeb Bush.
Can we never get rid of this blob?
Mommy and daddy?
“Jeb Bush said Monday night that GOP front-runner Donald Trump “will be in decline” the next time they meet for a debate in mid-December.”
Just like a liberal, Jeb is projecting his imminent demise onto another person. Crash and burn, Jeb, and go move to Mexico.
Desperation is a terrible affliction. LOL!
