This poll is being reset and posted again after fixing a minor technical glitch.

I am the official pollster of this forum and this is my second survey. Please vote and make your voice heard.

Today's question is: Which candidate do you prefer to be President of the United States?

Please explain why after you vote. Thank you

Trump’s position was that we needed to take in the muzzie refugees until Cruz straightened them all out.

Cruz’ position is that they need to stay in their country to fight and rebuild.

If I am, I’m not making any money.

I’m not a very prolific poster.

If you don’t trust the only honest man in the race (Cruz) why vote at all?

None of the candidates have answered many important questions. Until they do, how can we give them our vote. Here are a few that must be answered. If they don't answer, they don't get my vote.

If there was a law allowing discrimination, physical harm or death, would you stand by and allow it because it is legal or would you work to stop it before anything else? Remember, someone is dying every minute you delay.

Do you believe babies in the womb have a legal right to life and should be protected?

Would you sign a bill to completely defund planned parenthood?

Will you oppose Common Core and other federal educational overreaches by any name and support parents’ right to opt their children out of Common Core testing?

Will you promise to commit to securing the border, decreasing the number of legal immigrants and foreign workers coming into the United States?

Will you commit repeal and replace Obamacare?

Would you stop bailouts for big business?

Would you sign a law protecting religious freedoms, whether for government employees or private business?

I don’t trust any of them but if Trump, Cruz or Carson is the nominee, I will vote for the nominee.

Anybody else and I’ll probably stay home.

I’ll stay home for sure if it’s Bush.

Trump is the least trustworthy of the entire bunch.

He is the most entertaining, but even he cannot believe that he would do what he says he wants to. Of course he has no understanding of the presidency, which can account for much of his bombast.

Wrong!

Cruz has covered all but one of them.

That wasn’t very friendly. I responded to a question asked. I have found both Fiorina and Rubio to be able to address issues and think on their feet and do not feel the need to use a teleprompter as does Obama.

Trump can think on his feet but his tirades are of a school yard bully and has no substance nor will it. He is a fraud and should quit the race as he is only gumming up the works.

Trump as he can and will do the things that we need done in this country especially after Obama’s time at the helm of the nation.

I would vote Cruz should he get the nomination, a good man (about 85% history) but I don’t think he can accomplish anywhere near what Trump can as President.

I would vote for Carson, Jindal, Rubio, Christie, Kasich, Paul, Huckster, (not that I would like to, nor is there much chance they will get nomination) to keep Dem out of WH. Would never vote for Bush or Fiorina. The rest have less than zero chance of getting nomination.

The Cruz position is correct and unchanged.

“In terms of settling the migrants, if the ultimate goal is to return them to their homes, which I believe it should be, it doesn’t make sense from a logistical or a security standpoint to move large numbers of them to far-off countries like the United States.

CRUZ: We Need to Address the Cause of the Migrant Crisis

To me its rather sad how uninformed conservatives are proving to be. Most don't have a clue who supports the renewable fuel standards and the subsidies required. Most don't know who supports diplomatic relations with Cuba and the fact that we're propping up the communists.

Ted, b/c he is fearless, articulate and willing to use the bully pulpit to go over the establishment’s heads. We need someone who can explain conservative principles in a common sense, understandable way. On many issues, I don’t think Trump fills the bill on this. Bob

You don’t get it. There is MAJOR dissatisfaction among conservative Democrats and independents as well. Cruz can explain to them WHY government has been screwing them, better than anyone else.

One issue I have with Trump is that despite his grandiose plans I see no reason to believe he would get anything done by constitutional means. Doing them by unconstitutional means would likely get him impeached and we can’t rely on the fact that they haven’t impeached Obama to prove that it wouldn’t happen. As far as I can tell, Trump has little interest in the constitution.

Ted Cruz on the other hand can be very persuasive and would build coalitions between individual congressmen and the white house to get things done by constitutional means. (Much like Reagan did)

Cruz!

We desperately need to reinvigorate Conservatism/Constitutional into the culture of our once great Nation. I also believe that would bring back an optimism to society.

If we don’t get the culture back, then any other victory will be fleeting.

We need less “I” in office and more “We”.

A revenge candidate may be attractive but in the end its only destructive. Reagan set a near perfect tone in his 1980 nomination acceptance speech.
