If you had to vote in your state primary/caucus today, knowing what you know now about the various declared and probable candidates, who would you vote for? Why? Who would you like to see as the running mate for your preferred candidate? If you could help staff your candidates cabinet and other top appointments, who would you choose? If you could recommend different congressional leaders than we have now, who would they be? And who would you like to see on the Supreme Court and why? And finally, feel free to donate to Free Republic.
CRUZ!
lol...You ought to check out Trump's positions and previous endorsements.
CRUZ: This is our fight. The answer will not come from Washington. It will come only from the men and women across this country, from men and women, from people of faith, from lovers of liberty, from people who respect the Constitution.
Just waiting on the Mrs. Then "I'll leave you, California...."
Best of everything.
Trump, because Cruz cannot win. He could not win the general election because his base of support is too narrow. He would be trampled by the GOPe. Not enough money to beat Jebbie.
Ted Cruz.
Ted Cruz
Cruz (for the poll answer)
-and-
I like Cruz, and depending on where he is in the primaries will/would vote for him...but I could live with Trump as the nominee, or Carson, or Walker for that matter. My only “no” is Jeb. I won’t be voting for jeb. I’ll vote my senator and write in someone. Hardly a difference between Jeb and Hillary.
Senator Ted Cruz.
Trump/Cruz.
An honest question: What would you say about supporting Huckabee if you were standing face-to-face with the widows and children of the four police officers killed by a man whose sentence Huckabee commuted over the protests of the parole board in Arkansas?
Huckabee has taken “responsibility” for his decisions to commute all those violent criminals, but all of those officers are still dead, those spouses are widows, and those children are orphans.
Additionally, many other of Huckabee’s commutations (all done over the protests of the parole boards) went on to commit other heinous crimes.
What would you say to the victims, the survivors and their families?

Uhh, he has more money than John Ellis Bush as of right now.
1. Cruz
2. Walker, Rubio, Jindal
5. Carson, Santorum
7. Fiorina, Huckabee
9. All the others except for........
Last. Trump
I vote for Founding Fathers when I can’t stomach the candidate.
If Trump gets the nod (which I seriously doubt), George Washington gets my vote in 2016.
Ted Cruz for President.
Trump.
Not Dr. Carson. He is an extreme leftie regarding amnesty, and he is for gun control. And what does he know about creating job? His answer that he wouldn’t have shot Brown speaks for itself.
I have. Still doesn’t make Cruz any better on it. He’s bad on it now.
My list isn’t much different than yours.
Interesting. And the truth is, I don’t really know much about Carson anyway. I would of course spend more time looking at him as the time comes.
