Erick Erickson knows what it’s like to be in the crosshairs over an intemperate remark. An influential conservative blogger and former CNN contributor, he’s taken heat over the years for accusing a Supreme Court justice of bestiality and joking that God “had a sense of humor” when he created feminists.

So his initial reaction when told Friday about Donald Trump’s latest controversial remarks was one of puzzlement. But by the end of the evening, he was leading the charge against the Republican frontrunner over his attitude towards women.

Erickson had just returned from a family dinner to the Grand Hyatt hotel in Atlanta, across from where supporters of his website RedState.com were meeting for an annual conference. Several contributors pulled him aside and told him that Trump had just made a seeming reference to menstruation when complaining about a female Fox News host’s questions during Thursday’s debate....

This is what Amerika has become - Kill, ruin, flog anyone who is not PC. Get them to “apologize” in the media so the PC adherants can keep anyone else daring to be non-PC paralyzed.

Me, I’d rather have a fighter than not.

He overreacted and left his chin exposed. Every journalist he meets is going to throw uppercuts at him. Is he going to pick fights with all of them? Flailing about on defense is not a sound fighting tactic.

Unless...Trump's strategy is to keep this story in the news for the foreseeable future. In that case, he has succeeded. I'm just not so sure ongoing coverage portrays him in a favorable light.

I have yet to hear DT *stay* on the defensive; unlike the mealy-mouthed politicians.

He says his piece and then moves the conversation where HE wants.

The man didn’t get to be a $B by having everyone lead him by the nose; especially during negotiations (debates).

The more the MSM focuses on every feigned slight, the less they talk about the RINOs/GOPe (Jeb! and the like).

I, for one, am enjoying watching the establishment needing multiple changes of their shorts because of the man.
