With the big Fox News debate tonight, and as we begin to pick our favored candidates for the upcoming presidential campaign, it is noteworthy to point out that, as we announced yesterday, Senator Ted Cruz will be coming to Mississippi next week to campaign and Senator McDaniel will be with him, and that Donald Trump threw his support behind Senator McDaniel last year against Thad Cochran.
(TWEET-AT-LINK)
And endorsed Cochran (the anti tea party candidate)’s opponent.
It’s a wash.
Many freepers endorsed mcconnell too. ‘OMG, you don’t want a DIM TO WIN!’.
Because it would have made a difference or something LOL.
I still expect Trump to be denied the nomination by the GOPe. If he goes third Party, I hope Cruz is with him. Cruz knows better than most that the GOPe is not listening to the people.
Sure they did. Just as they're endorsing lifelong liberal Donald Trump.
By the way, I'm Latino.
Oh, of course you are. I completely believe you.
The only issue I have with your position is that we currently have a One Party System. If Trump runs as an Independent, we will still be within the Two Party System.
Hey look, a race card from a retard who thinks the hispanic vote is up for grabs and decries evil Trump just messing it all up for his insensitive remarks that we all know are true. Why am I not surprised, scrub?
And show me, pretty please, where McConnell endorsed McDaniel.
Who was the anti-liberal GOP candidate.
Oh wait, this is how McConnell treated McDaniel’s victory in the first primary election:
“On June 10, the National Republican Senatorial Committee held a fundraiser for Cochran — which was likely the origin for many of Cochran’s congressional donations. The event raised $820,000, according to Roll Call. The e-mail announcing the fundraiser, signed by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), said, “We have been in this situation before and all of us know well from experience, this is no time to sit on the sidelines.””
Precisely.
If Trump runs ‘3rd party’ it really means we have a TWO party race.
Uniparty can’t stand that.
You're confused. I have never said he did.
Pay attention:
Trump supported McDaniel
Trump supported McConnell (who wasn’t nearly as lefty and didn’t run nearly as dirty a primary campaign as Cochran).
McConnell supported Cochran.
Trump’s support was a wash.
Many freepers supported McConnell in spite of his actions in the Cochran primary as well. ‘OMG, Grimes is a dim and she’ll win, she’s pro choice!!!! OMG!’.
Because that made a hill of beans to the dead planned parenthood babies or something. Right?
If the GOP nominee isn’t Cruz I’ll likely stay home. None of the others are RELIABLY pro life. If Trump runs 3rd party I’d probably vote for him. Because after the Cochran campaign, the GOP must be destroyed.
"Playing the race card" is when someone uses his status as a minority to defend his failures, implying that the person who is pointing out his shortcomings is a racist.
So when I point out that your argument about US Latinos was just completely wrong on the facts, your strategy was to play the race card: I should forget that your argument resulted in a complete faceplant for you because you (so you say) are Latino.
No sale.
Learn what terms mean before you use them.
I do pay attention. I’m just not interested in your lame posts and/or defense of lifelong liberal Donald Trump.
When were there two parties if there is only one now?
What was the magical point in time when there were two "real" parties?
The Reconstruction?
I'm pretty confident that the vast majority of Latinos who vote compulsively for Democrats (it was 70 percent last time for Obama) are probably either high school drop outs, or losers on the dole, who are never going to vote Conservative no matter how much you guys accuse folks of being racists.
I don’t think ANY of the other candidates except Cruz got behind McDaniel. None denounced the despicable tactics of McConnell which called MS conservatives racists.
Please show me where I’ve defended Trump.
Post 21.
So repeating the whole premise of thie original post in this thread is somehow ‘support’?
LOL.
Do you support Cochran then?
Agreeing that McDaniel was the one to vote for in the Senatorial primary last year doesn’t indicate ‘support’.
If Hillary said ‘the sky is blue’ and I agreed (after some checking) would that make me a Hillary supporter?
SPEAKING of Hillary supporters:
http://mississippiconservativedaily.com/2015/06/10/thad-cochrans-fundraiser-leads-hillarys-campaign/
“During the great Mississippi Senate campaign of 2014, we discovered through Politico that Senator Thad Cochran was given a high-dollar fundraiser by lobbyists at the Podesta Group:
PODESTA RAISES FOR COCHRAN: Downtowners are hosting a breakfast fundraiser for Sen.Thad Cochran (R-Miss.) at the offices of the Podesta Group. Podestas Peggy Binzel, Rebecca Edgar, Kimberley Fritts, Jim Dyer, Josh Holly, David Morgenstern, Randall Gerard, David Marin, Steve Northrup, Lauren Maddox, Elizabeth Morra, Missi Tessier, Sean McLaughlin, Stephen Rademaker, Mike Quaranta and Trey Hardin are all listed on the invite. The March 4 fundraiser will cost $2,000 for PACs and $1,000 for individuals.
This particular entry was later pulled down by the folks at Politico, Im guessing because of pressure from Cochran and his smear team, lest the people of Mississippi find out about it. Luckily we grabbed it before they did. Senator McDaniel called on the Cochran campaign to explain their relationship with the Podesta Group, but like Cochrans other questionable relationships (yes many others), his camp remained silent about it. It seems he pretty much remained silent about everything during that campaign, even his own crappy record.”
Because, UNIPARTY UBER ALLES!
My time is too valuable to be wasted with your circular argument. Bye.
Either almost all those HS graduates and self-supporting Latinos stayed home on election day 2012, or something else is going on.
I don't know who "you guys" are, but I didn't call Trump a racist. I just don't think insulting large ethnic groups is a good electoral strategy for the GOP.
