Senior Senate Republicans lined up Sunday to rebuke Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz for attacking Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, an extraordinary display of intraparty division played out live on the Senate floor.
As the Senate met for a rare Sunday session, Sens. Orrin Hatch of Utah, Lamar Alexander of Tennessee and John Cornyn of Texas each rose to counter a stunning floor speech Cruz gave on Friday accusing McConnell, R-Ky., of lying.
None of them mentioned Cruz by name but the target of their remarks could not have been clearer....

All the more reason to support him, in my opinion.

McConnell is nothing but a liberal communists rat. Cruz was right, this piece of crap lied.

McConnell doesn’t have the balls to respond himself so he sends out his minions to be swatted.
Will wait to see how Ted hands them their *sses.

Just three of the “old guard” had the balls to say anything. When the “old guard” is finally pushed out to pasture, they will not be missed.

So are the people that demanded he, and those like him, be sent back to DC to Work With Obama.

Wait until it's revealed that these two are happy to be Democratic Party lickspittle and feel that they are in the D.C. elite.

As Cruz said, it is government of the lobbyists; by the lobbyists; and for the lobbyists.
Throw them all out; they are a bunch of corrupt bastards as Sarah Palin said.

Those three squishes in agreement is proof positive that they are in the wrong.

Ask your senators what they think about the states amending the Constitution to repeal the 17th Amendment and post their replies.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
Hatch, Alexander and Cornyn are textbook examples what is wrong with the GOP Senate — three ball-less geldings so averse to fighting that they end up doing the Democrats’ bidding. These RINOs’ worst enemies are young stallions on their own side of the aisle (like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee) who expose the old bastards as the frauds they are. Damn them. Viva Cruz!
To: 2ndDivisionVet
Were they defending Reid, or McConnell? Cruz did compare McConnell to Reid. That’s a pretty low blow to Reid. Like questioning his manhood.
