On Saturday’s “Melissa Harris-Perry” Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors spoke about the protests at Democratic primary candidates Martin O’Malley and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), when Black Lives Matters protesters demanded O’Malley and Sanders mentioned Sandra Bland, who was recently found dead in her prison cell, by name.
Cullors was asked by guest co-host Janet Mock what her plan was for Republican candidates, specifically Jeb Bush, for calling “black lives matter” a “slogan.”(continued)

In a three way Trmp-Hillary-¡Yeb! race, Trump only loses if GOP voters are suicidally stupid.
In the meantime he spends his time trashing all the other Republican candidates. Ronald Reagan's 11th commandment was "Thou shalt not speak ill of another Republican." Trump's is "Thou shall not say anything good of another Republican." That goes for Republicans who are not even running, like George W. Bush.

Hmm, you seem to think or wishfully believe the Black Lives Matter crowd thinks somewhat clearer than the Occupy Wall Street Crowd did.
After the first night of riots, the GOPe convention in Cleveland may just turn out to be the most watched convention in damn near fifty years.
Oh no. Invite them in because we agree with them that Democratic Party mayors and Democratic Police Chiefs are militarizing police forces (with war surplus) against minority citizens.
I’d like to see the statistics comparing how many white-on-black deaths compare to black-on-black deaths. Maybe the Black Lives Matter people should be demonstrating in the black neighborhoods.
The truth is Black Lives don’t matter to Democrats. If they did, rather than focus on the few blacks who are killed at the hands of police officers (some of which truly are murder, but most are not), they would focus on the thousands of blacks killed in the inner cities via gang violence. Heck, blacks suffering year in and year out is the mothers milk for their party because blacks suffering means more votes for the Dems
I take that back, black lives do matter to the Dems, but not in the way they imply. The more black lives get ruined, the more power the Dems can leverage for themselves.
My parents never let me make excuses for my failures. The entire Democrat infrastructure is based on making excuses for failure. Who would want to be a part of that muster-cluck?
We can’t intelligently talk about immigration, gay marriage, abortion, religion, minimum wage, or women in the work place bc as soon as you don’t tow the liberal line, the PC police nail us. Trumps appeal at this time has much less to do with his political philosophy and much more to do with his attitude and his ability to effectively take on the PC police.
Maybe the Donald fades away and maybe he doesn’t. In any case, I hope his presence in this election cycle at least effectively weakens the media and PC crowd to the point where we once again can talk like adults on many different issues facing this country.
This woman has a Hitler mentality. Instead of blaming Jews for all the problems of the country she blames white people for al her failures. These people are emotional cripples easily hypnotized to do anything her masters tell her to do.

“Brokered convention” refers to a situation in which the vote tally is uncertain heading into the convention.
There hasn’t been a brokered convention in the strict sense since 1952 (1948 on the Dem side). GOP leadership would simply not allow it to happen.
Our political process is tightly stage managed despite the appearance of conflict.

I just don’t understand why the GOP seems to select liberal, Dem-led cities for their conventions...
A few years ago there was street violence, businesses and autos damaged, etc., at a GOP convention in... (I think) some city that starts with an M... maybe Milwaukee?
Why doesn’t the GOP select more Conservative cities for their conventions? It would hold down the liberal demonstrations.
That goes for Republicans who are not even running, like George W. Bush.

Since leaving office, Dubya has avoided chiming in on political matters... other than making a couple of statements that his brother JEB is smart. He hasn’t trashed anyone, including Obama.
There are enough blind-voting-republicrats to insure a Hillary win if Trump goes third party. That would be due to those folks who vote Republican regardless of the candidate(s), the issues, or proposed solutions.
The squishy middle is the heart of the election, and there is simply not enough of them to make a third party candidate viable, at this time.
That being said...I’ll still not cast a prophylactic ballot. I will vote for the candidate who best represents my conservative views. That won’t be HRC. It won’t be Jeb Bush, and it won’t likely be Trump (check out his nationalized health care remarks). I’m still leaning toward Ted Cruz.
Clearly other republic such as McCain and Walker aren’t following such a commandment. Trump is simply not curling into a fetal position when someone speaks out or goes after him. That kind of spirit is what we need to recover fromm the spineless wimps running the country now.
