Nope, Trump won’t play 2nd fiddle to anybody. That ain’t happenin...I Wouldn’t mind seeing Trump/Cruz, I don’t think Cruz is really ready to run the show anyway. A few years as VP though...I can see that going somewhere.
I’m waiting to see, but I get the feeling Trump may be in it for the long haul, I think he knew he’d lose some business. One thing you can’t call Trump is dumb.
I’m glad someone else sees it, I pegged Cruz as making a political move first time I saw his response to Trump’s statements. And as usual he handled it well.
These are the two the opposition fears the most. All you have to do is look at who the media is trying to ostracize. All the publicity has been mainly on these two, a little on Rubio, Paul is almost forgotten...
I think they’d make a killer tag team, and have been wondering if there’s a backroom agreement here.
Oh and if you can find it, read the book “The Dark Side of Camelot”. Really interesting read about JFK, he and LBJ hated each other, Kennedy thought LBJ embodied everything he hated about DC politics, Bobby called him an ogre. Reading between the lines, it sounds a lot like LBJ blackmailed his way into eh VP seat. John and Bobby had a list of people to pick from, LBJ was not on it. One half hour meeting and LBJ walked out VP, JFK was almost in tears...get the book, it’s good...
A Shakespearean decision which may have cost him his life.
A Trump(69)/Cruz(45?) ticket would have more fireworks and more exciting since I was first eligible to vote in 1972.
It would be a great combination of not backing down in face of fierce criticism, International deal making experience, success in accumulating business wealth and oratory skills of Ted Cruz.
