SIOUXLAND - One of Governor Bush's rivals for the GOP nomination, Texas Senator Ted Cruz, is planning to spend plenty of time in Siouxland over the next couple weekends.
Cruz is planning to hold a town hall meeting this Friday evening at Cronk's Café in Denison.
That event will get underway shortly after 7.
He'll be back in Siouxland Friday the 26th, hosting two town hall meetings in Sheldon at 1 pm and 2:30 pm before a meet-and-greet picnic with State Senator Bill Anderson at the City Park in Pierson.
That event will get underway at 5:30 pm.
First to jump in...first to implode.
I was really hoping Ted was on our side.
“First to jump in...first to implode.
I was really hoping Ted was on our side.”
He’s a politician. Nothing more nothing less. At the end of the day he’s like all the others.
Are you both kidding me? Where do you come up with your talking points? Care to prove your statements?
Cruz is winning this race. You might not like it or see it, but he is.
So, to both of you, who is winning and who is your respective candidate.
Oh, btw, if he is losing, WHY is he in IA?
Leading Anti-ObamaTrade Activist Is a Longtime Democrat Political Operative
By tailoring his disinformation to appeal to conservatives, the career Democrat operative is attempting to make the Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) and Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) toxic to Republicans.
Curtis Ellis leads a group called the American Jobs Alliance that vehemently opposes the pending Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and fast-track authority that would expedite its congressional consideration. Ellis calls the latter ObamaTrade.
You Rock! :):)

Ha. Taking that a little bit too personal aren’t you?
I said he was politician and that’s a fact.
Right now I’m going with Trump as long as he’s in the race. Real long shot that he get’s the nomination so I’ll probably end up voting 3rd party in the general.
Ted’s already had his 3rd strike with me.
Nice rhyme to it, huh? Dump Trump!
“Who is going to be your next candidate after you dump Trump?”
I’ll have to see who’s left standing. If there’s nobody left that I’ll support in the general I’ll most likely not vote in the primary.
Good luck with your search!
The very best I can say for the imposter is that he’s the worst negotiator this nation has ever suffered.
If I’m going to contribute to a prospective candidate (that’s done with), he’s certainly not going to fight to give the imposter more negotiating power on a fast track.
See ya Ted!
LOL...he has had his 3rd strike with you. so, when Trump isn’t the nominee, you will vote 3rd party as opposed, to say, Cruz who is 99% Conservative?
And you think Trump is better?
So, RS, who is your candidate then? Let me guess...Trump?
They’re now calling us “Cruzbots” if we regard Ted Cruz as the successor to Ronald Reagan. Nice...
So Sioux me.
;^)
I’ve been called worse. ;-)
The only thing that is going to.implode is your head. Ted Cruz’s campaign is doing very well, thank you.
“And you think Trump is better?”
I already know what Trump is. He’s a billionaire reality TV celebrity.
I know that going in and still think he can deliver on jobs and a better trade deal.
You like Cruz and that’s great but he went begging for disaster money last month after the floods in central Texas. That was after voting no for disaster relief after hurricane Sandy. That to me is hypocrisy. He supports increases in H-1B visas and now Obamatrade.
It’s no difference to me who you support but I can’t support Ted after comparing his rhetoric to his actions.
Any of the strikes I have against him would be forgivable on it’s own if he would have just supported it instead of saying one thing and then doing something opposite.
For me his actions are those of a showboater with no real skin in the game.
Showboater? You are referring to Trump, right? It doesn’t surprise me when people like you support a guy like Trump. He isn’t a Conservative but he talks a good game.
Funny, you talk about Cruz’s actions...so let’s compare histories. Cruz has fought countless times on the Senate floor for Conservative values. He has a record of Conservatism. You disagree with a vote, so he is off of your list.
Now, Trump, on the other hand, has had liberal positions for a long time...only recently to flip. His donations to the Clintons among others make me wary.
You are right about showboating, but Cruz ain’t he showboat.
