Heres how you profile Ann Coulter by the numbers. Job well done, Daily Beast!
Lloyd Groves new piece has it all multiple Ted Kennedy cracks, a sexy description of what shes wearing, provocative but not too serious conversation about immigration, and finally an Adolf Hitler kicker.
Here are the highlights!
Ann Coulter arrives. The Daily Beast swoons:
She wears tight, seemingly painted-on jeans, a hint of midriff showing beneath her blouse; at 53, she still rocks that Vixen of the Right thing that once prompted Playboy to ask her to take it all off. In a rare display of caution, she declined.
Requisite denial that her act is mere right-wing performance art:
I dont know why liberals find this idea about me comfortable . I have summer-camp friendswho, when they see people say this is just an act, she doesnt really believe itthey would write indignant letters and say, No. She would march up to me on the hiking trail and explain that Nixon was being lied about.
Her new (topic of latest book goes here) book is about how everything is Ted Kennedys fault:
(It was) an evil-genius plan to change the country. Obama never could have been elected in this country but for Teddy Kennedys immigration act. Never, never, ever, ever!
In order to change this country to one more favorable to crazy liberal policies, Democrats passedand Republicans were hoodwinked into passingthis crazy 1965 immigration law that has changed the country in shocking and dramatic ways This has been our law for 50 years now, and I blame the Republicans for idiotically continuing it. As for these idiot Tea Partiers or whichever conservatives are idol-worshipping Ronald Reagan, he was great for his time, but it was a different world. I dont think hes going down as the greatest president when he signed an amnesty law.
She hates immigrants but is really a sweet person under it all:
(Coulter, however, is unfailingly friendly to our waiter, who identifies himself as Luis, an immigrant from Ecuador who came here 10 years ago and is working his way toward U.S. Citizenship.)
Dubious, hateful provocative claim about race:
Hispanic groups will move into neighborhoods and say, we dont want any blacks here, and start physically attacking blacks. Its kind of wild. In most race relations, its never blacks who are victims of terror, its whites. Now blacks are being terrorized.
She loves black comedians!
They are so important culturally in AmericaI mean the humor, the actors they have the comedians and the music. I love Dave Chapelle, and my close personal friend Sherrod Small. I love Eddie Murphy, although he doesnt do anything anymore. And Chris Rock.
Even the wingnuts arent conservative enough:
Meanwhile, Coulter blasts the current crop of Republican presidential hopefulswith the exception of Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walkeras bozos and morons, and heaps special contempt on Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul (whom she accuses of favoring amnesty) and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who lately pays lip-service to tough policies, Coulter says, but I dont trust him.
End on a Hitler line, which is actually praise of Mitt Romney and, yes, an attack on Teddy Kennedy!
Look, if (Romney) had to be Adolf Hitler but managed to take out Teddy, I would salute him to end that menace.
John F. Kennedy had a dream to replace the American people with foreign voters, a different kind of voter, the importation of an endless supply of democrat voters.
JFK knew that the Protestant vote had only gone democrat twice, in 1932 and in 1936, and by a narrow margin.
However, if there is one man who can take the most credit for the 1965 act, it is John F. Kennedy. Kennedy seems to have inherited the resentment his father Joseph felt as an outsider in Bostons WASP aristocracy. He voted against the McCarran-Walter Act of 1952, and supported various refugee acts throughout the 1950s.
In 1958 he wrote a book, A Nation of Immigrants, which attacked the quota system as illogical and without purpose, and the book served as Kennedys blueprint for immigration reform after he became president in 1960. In the summer of 1963, Kennedy sent Congress a proposal calling for the elimination of the national origins quota system. He wanted immigrants admitted on the basis of family reunification and needed skills, without regard to national origin.
After his assassination in November, his brother Robert took up the cause of immigration reform, calling it JFKs legacy. In the forward to a revised edition of A Nation of Immigrants, issued in 1964 to gain support for the new law, he wrote, I know of no cause which President Kennedy championed more warmly than the improvement of our immigration policies. Sold as a memorial to JFK, there was very little opposition to what became known as the Immigration Act of 1965.
“You should have stood for America, for conservatism and voted for it...”
You have me puzzled. There was no conservative to vote for in the last presidential election. If I had stayed home, that would have been a vote for Obama. The number crunchers say that if all the conservatives had voted, Obama would have been defeated. If you think that Obama is better than Romney, you are basically alone in your opinion, but we all are entitled to an opinion.
I wish some "Homer" could see that Obama is truly Eviland Romney was not.
Romney was okay with using government to force adoption agencies to cooperate with would-be homosexual adoptive "parents" on the pretense that it would be immoral not to -- discrimination, don't you see, at a time when NO ONE is clamoring for laws outlawing homosexuals from adopting kids -- Romney is evil enough to advocate for laws that outlaw rejecting open homosexuality freely and civilly, by telling it to go somewhere else.
Romney endorsed and praised, as Governor, "Gay Youth Pride" school outreach to kids as young as 12, and even younger.
Homosexuality is only a sin. EVIL is using the force of government to insist that you and yours go along with it and pretend that it's just fine. THAT is evil. Romney and Obama were BOTH very bad news, big mistakes, amoral tyrants. Voting for one was as nuts as voting for the other.
President Reagan would not have approved of staying home.
You got that one correct. I'm decently informed politically and therefore have a moral duty to vote because people shed blood for me to have that right. If I was politically ignorant, I'd have the moral duty to stay home and refrain from voting.
So in 2012, for the first time in 40-plus years of voting straight Republican, I viewed it as my MORAL duty to vote third party and use what little power I had to make sure that whichever evil amoral government abuser and tyrant won, would have just that much less of a mandate.
If you're going to have an amoral pro-government tyrant of either Republican or Democrat persuasion, he ought to go in with the minimum of votes as a brand that the balance of Americans told him to go to hell. The media claimed Clinton was "popular," but a majority of American voters opposed him both times he was elected. He got hammered by the Republican Revolution, and then impeached. He was weak because of the plurality, and that was a good thing.
So yep -- President Reagan would not have approved of staying home. He would also have been disgusted at informed Republicans gullible enough to be cowed into voting FOR tyranny, and tricked into voting for the Republican party to turn hard left. He would have been mad as hell.
Whats there to be puzzled over? At minimum, there were a couple in the primaries that did hit Reagan’s 80% mark. ALL of them were more conservative than Romney by orders of magnitude.
How can you sit here and say with a straight face that there was no one to vote for in a country with 300,000,000 million people and a write in box on every presidential election form? How?
There were people to vote for. The fact is that you gambled on winning with an open liberal over perhaps standing on your claimed conservative beliefs and losing. It was a conscious decision entered into willingly. You CHOSE to gamble on an open liberal winning and lost.
Had you won, you would have elected an open liberal that opposed Reagan openly, hates and attacks conservatives at every opportunity while letting fellow Dem liberals slide and gave more authority to the GOP to run even more leftist candidates while purging conservative Republicans from the ranks.
But you lost. And in so doing, your vote which could have given a boost to an actual conservative was entirely wasted for conservatism and for America. But it was not entirely wasted because it showed the GOP that there were people willing to empower their liberalism no matter how far left a candidate they would offer up anyway. Which they did in the next election, going as far as to bankroll Democrat votes to get Cochran his seat back and possibly, him off the livestock. They also abandoned traditional marriage as was another Romney achievement and continued funding Romney...I mean Obamacare after reneging on their vow to gut and end it.
Now tell me exactly and in detail where any of that is incorrect without lying, spinning or making an old, worn out excuse. Since the above IS in fact all fact based and documented on FR and elsewhere, then explain why you willingly took it upon yourself to do that level of damage to the country you say you love.
She must have enough money in the bank to live comfortably off of at this point.
So you voted for evil in a different way.
Wake up from your dream world.
Herman Cain is miles better than Carson. He schooled Clinton in 92. He wasn’t prepared for president but he’s a bad man. Wish he would have been able to win that senate seat back 10 years ago.
Finny, at some point, say over 2 years after the fact, you have to accept that the enemy is within. France had a similar issue after WW2 with collaborators.
And people still making excuses for liberal empowerment 2 years later are most assuredly collaborating with liberals.
If you're going to vote for it, own it. I own that I voted to weaken either bastard victor, tyrant Obama Democrat or tyrant Romney Republican. All I wanted was to make sure that whichever bastard won, would do it as weakly as possible, and that is how I voted. You, on the other hand, voted to turn the Republican party hard left. Had Romney won, you would have had to OWN it. You're lucky he lost. We all are.
Concisely phrased, Norm. Exactly right. On health care, abortion, the gay agenda, environmentalism, activist judges leaning left -- just different, equally dangerous and amoral but in a way MORE dangerous because it won by trickery and fear; at least the Democrats are plum stupid enough to WANT what they vote for. I don't know, though ... is it less stupid to vote for what you don't want, as so many Republicans did with Romney, pretending you're voting "against" the boogeyman?
We know today that President Obama created ISIS for the Muslim Brotherhoodthe most brutal regime in my lifetime.

Voting third party or staying home to spite Romney has affected thousands of Middle-Eastern Christiansparticularly in the beheadings of Christian children. Would Romney have brought millions of Middle-Easterners here posing as "refugees"?
I think I'm right about Reagan's overall view of "White-Hat" Americans.
WRONG, odawg. Mathematically and materially WRONG. Or are you using some kind of New Math?
If you had stayed home, it would have been one less vote for EITHER OF THEM.
Man -- you're on fire, Norm! BRAVO, well said!!!
I can’t get past how ckildlike it is to pretend a thing is something other than what it is. It’s fine for little girls to pretend their doll is some glamourous movie star best friend. It’s fine for little boys to pretend they are the hulk. Those are part of normal development to adulthood.
But when adults adopt that EXACT MINDSET to guide their voting, you wither have a mental issue or a child trapped in an adult body. To pretend that there is some magical ‘against’ box that transforms by unicorn farts from their vote IN FAVOR of a candidate is completely childlike. And people acting like children should be treated accordingly.
Its the same thing you and I and several others here have said 1000 times before. It’s true. But of course, people refuse to listen no matter who says it because they are determined to do it all again.
Wow. Did that screed really appear in Salon? It was practically unreadable. Guess I should expect too much from them though.
So stupid Democrats and mostly imaginary fraudulent "Americans" in ginned, illegal, dead, Motor-Voter, multiple vote, and who knows what else, voted FOR all that nightmare that you are so angrily shaking in front of me. The only folks who voted for it are Democrats and fraudulent imaginary folks. You're trying to hold me responsible for what they voted for. Hello?
Tell me what we'd look like right now if Romney had won, Obama long forgotten, the Republican party moving hard left, a Republican administration, to conservatives' disgust, advancing an R brand of Obamacare, environmentalism, on-demand subsidized abortion, the homosexual agenda, and on and on and on. Amoral evil stuff, that you voted FOR.
Me, I voted FOR both of them to go to hell.
You voted FOR the Republican party to move hard left, and you're trying hold me responsible because Democrats and cheats voted for Obama and he beat Romney.
OWN IT, please.
You may not know that Mitt Romney despised Ronald Reagan, so much so that he left the GOP during Reagan’s 1979 campaign and became an Independent.
Romney eventually became a democrat supporter with all of his donations going to democrat candidates, and he even did democrat fund raising, and eventually Planned Parenthood fund raising and support, Mitt Romney even voted for Paul Tsongas in 1992, and considered running for office as a democrat in the era of Clinton, but instead reregistered republican in October of 1993, to run for the Senate against Ted Kennedy, saying that he was more supportive of the gay agenda than Kennedy (Romney gave us gay marriage).
For years Romney made an effort in interviews to create a myth that Ronald Reagan had been “adamantly” pro-choice, as Romney tried to convince us that his own pro-abortion passion had been justified, Mitt Romney said he was against the GOP pro-life platform, after he won the nomination.
I've already stated that both of my absentee ballots (2008/2012) never arrived. The last election was closewhich is particularly ironic, as that was likely to have been our last election as a Constitutional Republic. Christian lives lost to Obama's malfeasance can't be reclaimed. Yes, Obama owns that legacy, but he's received no supportdirect or indirectfrom me.
