46,871 donors in 50 states give $4 million to Ted Cruz’s presidential quest

The $4 million that Sen. Ted Cruz collected in the first eight days of his presidential bid came from 46,871 donors in all 50 states, according to his campaign’s first Federal Election Commission filing.

More than a third of that — about $1.5 million — came from donors who gave at least $2,700, the maximum allowed per election per person. Of that, more than $400,000 came from 38 couples who gave $2,700 each for the primary, and another $2,700 each for the general election, for a total of $10,800.

General election funds can’t be touched unless Cruz wins the nomination. It’s not unusual for donors to give such funds. The Texas Republican’s haul so far appears to include at least $1 million he can’t use for now.

Hillary's got several slush funds she's been manipulating long before her run....money will not be an issue for her....SHE is the issue...and so far it's looking like she's flat lining compared with how they were expecting her to raise the masses.

Her return from her ‘Scooby’ Iowa Run says much.... even using the name “dated” her and was a foolish move. The only ones who found that amusing was her staff and loyal followers.....same with her logo.... So were her chit chats with staged people. .....She's running this campaign like something she's not and it's not working. Like this photo shot....no way would anyone invision Hitlerry crawling around on the floor with kids..and she doesn't "fit" the mode they're trying to make her into...everybody knows better.

Both of the Clintons look like they are dinosaurs of a past era, where today’s world has whizzed past them, leaving them like spent bones on the beach. Instead of paying attention to the issues of today’s world, they dwell in the socialist world of the past. Yep - if folks really want Cruz, it doesn't take a huge investment per person if enough wake up and smell the coffee. I won't be able to max out, but will do my damnedest to find a $1,000 for him over the duration. Hope to get a lot of it done early enough to be useful with the initial boosts.
