Misleading headline, isn't it? Read the whole thing. Ted Cruz isn't a "lost cause" as a candidate, but as a supporter of ethanol. Boy, they soooo want Jeb Bush to be our nominee. Why is that, do you think?

Simple.
If he's on the GOP-e ticket, then it doesn't matter who wins.

Who’s funding Salon these days? They were practically bankrupt a decade ago when they fell off the stock market.
They’d get an influx of “investment” money but it always seemed that they’d fart out after the ‘next’ election.
I guess it’s a cheaper/private way to circulate campaign messages under the banner of being “journalism”.

When I saw the quote they pulled that lead from, I laughed out loud. The desperation is obvious! Ted Cruz scares the bejeezus out of liberals.

Salon wants Jeb Bush, that’s what I think.
Further, I find it reprehensible that a small group (with respect to the size of other conservatives around the country) hold so much undue sway at so early a stage in the nomination gateway.
I find it a pandering, lop-sided farmer’s beauty contest where the winner is the babe who’s willing to shuck some corn.
I could give a crap what a couple hundred farmers think about subsidized ethanol and RFS when our country is being inundated, literally being choked of its wealth and future by millions and millions of infesting invaders. And, for one of those self-interested farmers to tell Salon, tell the world that “Cruz is a lost cause” and hear all about little Jebby, it just pisses me off to the core. Screw them. They ain’t seen lost yet. I’ll NEVER vote for Jeb Bush under any circumstance.

I don’t think it’s misleading, I think it’s encouraging. Salon thinks so highly of its own power it points us directly toward the one they are most afraid of as a viable candidate and a threat to America haters little utopia

Bush has big money and big influence invested in him. They are carefully preparing us all for his inevitability much like they did with Romney the last time around. I think they’re in for a rude awakening this time though. I don’t think there’s enough money to influence this primary election the way they want it influenced.

Note to Bush: enjoy the media gushing and fawning now, if you do get the nomination that type of coverage will do a complete 180 in less than a second.

I was speaking to an organizer when he brought up the fact that there werent any Democratic candidates at the event. The Democrats really blew an opportunity here, he said. Like that Maryland guy
whats his name? OMalley, I replied. Yeah, Martin OMalley! What if he had been here the past couple weeks, visiting farms, talking with equipment dealers, seed guys, and then come and talk with Bruce in front of everyone? Boom, Hillary has her email problems, and hes the Dem on top! Yeah, that's the ticket! Lil'Marty for Prez! He's done so much for our state!
