A vocal minority of the conservative base prefers Cruz, due to his outspokenness on conservative positions. He is also aided by an increasing concern that Republicans need to put up a minority or woman candidate or risk losing those demographics, costing them the general election. However, there is a significant portion of the GOP who find Cruz’s approach too divisive, needlessly alienating independents and moderates in the general election.

Ms. Alexander sees Senator Cruz's ethnicity as his only positive quality and repeats the GOPe narrative that he is 'divisive', etc. Meanwhile, she gushes over Romney. There is no doubt about her preference, despite her attempt to appear even-handed.

But as George Will astutely pointed out last week, Bush has two significant hurdles; his support for Common Core and immigration reform

and Willard has those and everything else that is repugnant to Conservatives..

So why is he still listed as equal or preferred to Cruz et al ???

I still think Sarah Palin is quietly preparing for a run that could start probably around February 2015.

CIRCA 2003---ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR Gov Perry addresses the Aga Khan: “It is a great honor to be in the presence of the Imam of 16 million Muslims around the world, a global humanitarian leader, a man of peace with a pluralistic vision for people around the world, His Highness, the Aga Khan, the 49th Hereditary Imam of the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims.

Your Highness, on behalf of 23 million Texans, and over 600,000 thousand Muslims living in Texas, I extend our heartfelt appreciation for your 50 years of great international leadership."

"We are delighted to welcome you to the Lone Star State and participate in the celebration of your Golden Jubilee. I am also grateful to the many federal, state and local leaders in attendance tonight. By their presence, these special guests convey the profound respect that exists in the Western World for His Highness’ work and leadership.”

In April 2004, the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) and Univ of Texas-Austin finalized a grant proposal that created the partnership that became known as the Muslim Histories and Cultures Program (MHC).

MHC recruited and directly trained 80 teachers affecting approximately 15,150 students of World History and World Geography in ten key Texas districts in 2005 and 2006.

The purpose is two-fold 1) to fulfill Governor Rick Perry’s desire to better educate Texas teachers on Muslim topics and 2) to train teachers to use a cultural lens approach to understanding other cultures.

Governor Perry was instrumental in getting this program off the ground (and was helpful in getting a triumphal mosque built in Texas and placing Sharia Law in the Texas justice system). ####

PERRY ADRESSES LA RAZA

=========================================

PERRY SUCKS-UP LIKE NO MAN BEFORE HIM --- Gov Perry gave illegals state protection, tax-paid benefits and the means to undermine the US govt. US history scrubbed from school curricula.

REFERENCE--Subversive Texas Textbooks---distributed nationwide--- vilify conservative groups;

Breitbart Texas | 09/10/2014 | Merrill Hope / FR Posted by Rusty0604

In 2006, uber-liberal "Texas Rising" stated its mission: "developing an emerging generation of social justice-minded, informed and engaged leaders is essential to the long-term health of our communities and the development of progressive public policy in Texas."

...a sneak peak at the preliminary Social Studies textbook found including distortions, omissions and half-truths all passing for accurate high school US history...

And there's this gem: "The radical right consists of groups that sometimes gather under the flag of militant anticommunism. Often known as reactionaries, they denounce most forms of government regulation, including progressive taxation and restrictions and industry.Examples of political groups on the radical right are the John Birch Society, the National States & Rights party, The Christian Crusade, and the Tea Party movement."

Strangely enough, these cream puff radicals who abhor police power would not hesitate to use government police power to enforce the changes they desire.

=============================================

THIRD WORLD INFILTRATION College Board exams changed history answers... revisionist historians developed different answers to the question of what America’s story is about. From their perspective, at the heart of our country’s history—like the history of any other powerful nation—lies the pursuit of empire, of dominion over others. At its core, say the revisionists, America’s history is about our capacity for self-delusion, our endless attempts to justify raw power grabs with pretty fairy-tales about democracy. ....

NOTE WELL: This terrifying Third World revisionism is straight out of Third World textbooks---emphasizing the T/W effort to undermine US ntl security for the coming armed takeover.

The conniving T/W uses an ancient formula going back to Greco-Roman times---where savages, barbarians and thieves overrun a bountiful country lusting after its power and riches.

REFERENCE--- Some 10 years back, Texas schools started used Mexican textbooks for their backward illiterate Spanish-speaking students. Texas textbooks advocated the Mexican perspective including:

<><> anti-white, anti-capitalist anti-USA viewpoints;

<><> Mexican textbooks falsified US history,

<><> proselytized blood-thirsty La Raza savagery;

<><> using teaching as brainwashing;

<><> inculcating violent separatist, latino supremacy idealogy.

==============================================

REALITY CHECK A primetime network news segment focused on an "impoverished" latino mother who paid big bucks to get her son coached to take the College Boards---but he was so stupid, he still couldn't pass them. So the C/B summarily "changed" the tests so that Pedro could pass using subversive Third World hate-filled US history.

Gov Perry receives a custom-made serape from Mexican Gov
Enrique Martinez of Coahuila, as a token of appreciation for
Perry's backing the "Texican Dream Act."

“Since forming a presidential exploratory committee earlier this month, Jeb Bush is being considered a serious Republican candidate for president.”........

The medias darling, of that I have no doubt. The media will push him hard as they know any demodummie they put forth will beat him. He definitely would NOT be my choice.

I wish people were talking about a person who comes to mind for wisdom, experience, a lifetime of living constitutional conservative principles, and an excellent ability to articulate those values. Someone who has never had to compromise at the expense of those values. That would be Senator Jeff Sessions.

Will correctly points out that his support for the latter is far more nuanced than people understand. Bush does not advocate for more immigration through family reunification, which is the agenda of radical immigration activists, but instead for meeting employment needs, and he supports a path to legal status instead of citizenship

I support a path to legal status too. Illegals in our country are criminals and should be arrested, fingerprinted and DNA swabbed, deported, and prevented from any legal re-entry or path to citizenship for life. And the path to legal status I mentioned? Criminals who leave our country on their own should have the same opportunity to apply for legal entry as any other citizen of another country. If they used their time here wisely, learned English, and learned a needed skill, that should give them an advantage, shouldn't it? Until they are granted legal entry through normal immigration channels, they have legal status in their home countries, and that's all they deserve.

I can predict fairly accurately the winner of the Nomination by determining the WORST POSSIBLE CANDIDATE. So I think Bush will win the nomination. I didn’t want any of our candidates in ‘96, ‘00’ (’04 either) ‘08, although I celebrated Sarah Palin’s pick, and I didn’t want Mitt in 2012. So I’m inversely accurate.

I also horrifically recall my exuberance when Obama won the nomination. I KNEW he was the most unqualified, most inept, least educated, most ridiculous candidate that could have ever been nominated (not unlike B or C list candidate Clinton back then), and I KNEW that America would never elect someone straight out of kindergarten to pretend to be President.

I think Walker will have a say. Do not count out a guy who had to win a recall election in a somewhat blue state.

Jeb and Crispy are my line in the sand. Other than that I am a Cruz girl but I want to see a Republican in the Whitehouse come Jan 2017. That’s if we can avoid CWII breaking out in between.
