Senate Democrats surrender fight against McConnell

Senate Democrats announced Tuesday they won’t spend any more money on television in Kentucky, throwing in the towel on their fight to oust Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell.

Most polls have shown the race slipping away from nominee Alison Lundergan Grimes (D) for weeks in a contest long considered a top pickup opportunity for Democrats. But with the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee’s (DSCC) decision, the party is shifting almost solely to defense in hopes of protecting its fragile six-seat majority.

Anything to get rid of Reid is never a bad thing. Without Reid as ML, many stonewalled House bills could get a new life.

Someone besides McConnell as Sen. Majority Leader would really work, too.

I don’t like the RINO SOB, but between him and Harry Reid, I will take MM any day. I’d still like a change in the leadership, but that is unlikely after a big win.

I wonder if some kind of a back door deal was struck as it appears the Republicans will take back the Senate. If we pull the campaign money from your(Mitch)opponent we will want X.

I agree, but first we must get the majority.

With just less then 3 weeks before the election, you will start to see the polls reflect reality. They are going to mysteriously begin to show the Republicans leading by wide margins in races that up to now were “too close to predict a winner.”

this is what I think is going to happen.

Obama’s warplanes over Iraq and Syria are suppressing his anti war vote. Which was a considerable piece of his coalition.

Black women will show up for him. Plus black government people of all stripes.

But he has been shredding his own constituency as fast has he has been alienating independents and motivating republicans to come out and vote.

I just would not be surprised if a lot more dems were unseated in this election than are currently anticipated— on all levels and pushing into some deep blue states because obama is discouraging his political friends from voting and encouraging his political enemies to vote.

Yes, that is true. Also, the Rats may be saving the money for ground game, meaning vote fraud operations.

I really hope republican elites have not become that corrupt. But we just will never know.

Why is that? Is it because voters do not pay attention until election gets close or is it because the media is so corrupt?

The Rats are even more corrupt. I spent 35 years in Chicago.
I know the Rats better than most having served as precinct captain.

Seems to be the case running up to elections these past years. We will see but I think voter fraud will still be in play.I also do not trust the electronic voting one bit.
