At least one House Republican thinks Mitt Romney will make another run for the White House in 2016 and this time, he says the 2012 runner-up will emerge victorious.
I think he actually is gonna run for president. He probably doesnt want me to say that, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) told host Chris Matthews on MSNBCs Hardball on Monday. Chaffetz also backed the former Massachusetts governor early in the GOP nomination process for 2012.
A hundred times he says hes not, but Mitt Romney has always accomplished what hes set out to do. I think hes proven right on a lot of stuff. I happen to be in the camp that thinks hes actually going to run and I think he will be the next president of the United States, he said.
Romney has been the focus of much recent speculation regarding a possible run, but he has repeatedly brushed it aside. Yet, the former governor has weighed in on the political world this year, from endorsing Senate candidate Scott Brown to admonishing the White House for its handling of the rapidly deteriorating situation in Iraq and the surrounding region.
His operatives are now in complete control of the Iowa GOP.
So, while I have previously been highly skeptical of this sort of talk, after seeing the way the 2014 caucus to convention process played out, not so much.
The White Horse Prophecy lives to see another day. Swell. Because there wasn’t enough crazy in the world already.
They are now becoming delusional.
Yep. Gun-grabbing, state run health-care and homosexual "marriage". Such a record of accomplishment.
He got LESS votes than McCain in 2008...it’s hard to be that lame.
I will LIE DOWN IN THE STREET in front of this loser’s campaign bus to stop him.
I tell friends in Minnesota that Hubert Humphrey would be a moderate Republican today. It’s fun to watch their blood pressure spray out their ears.
Watch those Nevada odd makers. My odds wouldn’t favor him, we all know the Media will, and why? Because they know he would lose. The Media only backs Republican Losers.
Even though he cheated to get the nomination last time, I held my nose and voted for him. After Mississippi, I’ll never vote for another GOPe candidate. They have proven that they are equally anti America with the Democrats.
Better than Jeb Bush
I won't vote for anyone that is pro-amnesty, anti-gun, pro-socialized medicine, or pro-abortion.
Romney fails all of those.
He doesn't even match the republican party platform.

NO
Cruz-Romney would be similar to Reagan-Bush.
I’d vote for that ticket.
As a side question to this thread, given that there were possible voting problems with 2012 elections, why did Romney give up so quickly? (Remember when Bush and Gore went to Supreme Court.) It’s almost as if the 2012 elections were staged and Romney was just following the script.
HAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You could say the same about McCain, he didn’t try very hard to get elected and when Palin began to draw crowds and support he acted like it made him angry. I am not convinced McCain and Romney were just going through the motions to hoodwink Americans but both elections seemed strange to me.
Chaffetz, you ignorant slut.
Ringers.
Both of them.
